Black Cloud People, Dark Entities and Narcissists

Long ago, I noticed that just by looking at some folks, you just knew their lives are filled with woe, pain and plain bad luck. No words necessary.

“It’s like a black cloud, literally hanging above their head.” I knew no other way to describe it.

This is neither a value judgement nor estimation of spiritual state. It’s not about how nice or apparently deserving of scratchy karma anybody may be. It just IS. I took to referring to them as Black Cloud People.

I thought this extraordinary, but had no explanation. Once I hit the woo-woo world, I thought, “Ah, that must be the aura I’m sensing.” It’s out of whack, they have the bad luck, end of story. Right?

Eh. Not quite.

Dark Spirit Entities

I have been getting a lot of pings lately on dark entities. Researching an unrelated topic, I ran across a mention of entities appearing as dark clouds hovering in the aura. It jumped right off the page at me.

Ding, ding, ding!

Black cloud people DO have an auric disturbance, but it’s not just a sign of being unwell. The cloud itself is a negative entity. Uglies I call ’em. An Ugly can be an earth-bound ghost, a conglomeration of emotional energy that’s taken form, or astral being from another dimension. It can be young or old, weak or powerful, confused or determined. There are many planes of existence besides the one we label “real world.” Uglies can sometimes make their way here, attaching to people, places or things.

And at the same time as the Dark entity pings, I’m constantly hearing references on Narcissists. I kept getting the feeling, of “Here you go, Dixie.”  But I wasn’t sure at first what I was getting handed.

Oh. Uglies are Narcissistic! Duh. They feed off their attached host. They don’t help or guide, although some may pretend to. And they are as troublesome in the astral plane as they are in the physical.

Not every spirit is nice any more than every person is. Some misrepresent, out to feed on your energy, admiration or fear, exploiting your life force for their own ends. This is important for people who work with energies in any capacity to understand, because as you turn up your light, improve your connection, you begin to get noticed more on the astral plane. Hitchhiking Uglies can move in.

Powerful energy ripples outward powerfully. Just like talent or achievement in the physical world attracts strong attention (both good and bad,) so does metaphysical achievements.  Some of that attention will be supportive and uplifting, but some won’t be. It’s our job to be discriminating in what we in let close to us.

I don’t say this to scare. You have to realize, whatever sticks can only do so IF simpatico with your vibration or if there is some foothold. If you keep your energy clean, keep your body healthy and your aura strong, keep your motivations pure, it’s much harder to pick up unwelcome vermin up and they are much less capable of sticking and doing harm. ASK for protection and cleaning help from whatever divine energy you work with, and it will be there for you. Free will requires this help be of  your choosing.

The question isn’t so much what you can trust. You can ALWAYS trust the divine spark within you to tell you the truth. That’s how you get the inner knowings. You just have to be sure to take good enough care of yourself and your energy that you can hear it! And of course, there’s always the decision, whether or not to listen. Free will and all, baby.

Confusing Signs?

I’ve been having a conversation about identifying spirit signs. I have my personal “tells” — goosebumps, the three-times rule, an internal “click” and sense of knowing. I’ve written about this before, but here’s what I’m wondering today: how do you recognize for sure something is NOT a sign?

You know. Like when is a rose just a rose and nothing more than a rose? When does something pop into your head because somebody is thinking of you instead of because your guides are hitting the hotline to let you know something?

I am all about the free will,  and completely believe that you can get indications of what’s coming but sometimes, things change. Heck, that’s kind of the point of doing readings–to give yourself more options and insight based on the direction the energy is currently moving. It’s about choices! If you couldn’t make alternations in your course, there would pretty much be no point in reviewing your course, huh?

Complicating the field, we have imagination. Woo-Woo people have it in spades, because it’s the channel through which the info flows. That watery energy both gives you access to the etheral and obscures reality simultaneously. Blessing and curse, as they say. It’s like it’s not polite to suggest that some things people take as signs are just over-reaching, but truth be told, haven’t we all done it? I will ‘fess up! If I’m making a big decision, I may check in multiple ways over the course of multiple days, just to make sure I’m not seeing just what I want to see.

So between imagination and free will squaring off, I can’t go straight to physical manifestation as proof positive here. Just because it didn’t happen a certain way doesn’t mean the energy wasn’t in place for it. Only that it didn’t happen that way.

Which brings me back to the original question. Is it connected to the information itself? Is it about what’s empowering? Is it your state of mind? Other influences in your environment? Where do you look for this insight? I’m not talking about faith or lack thereof here. I’m talking about developing some confidence around where you put your faith, you know?

Do you have experience with something that felt like a sign but in retrospect, you  decided otherwise? How did you come to this conclusion? If you have any tricks, tips, or resources related to this question, I’d much appreciate hearing about it!

Ignoring Spirit Messages? I try.

Ignoring Spiritual Messages

I don’t want to hear it!

Sometimes, I just don’t want to hear it. “La-la-la-la-laaaaa!”

Like a week or two ago, I got an email that I didn’t want, addressing a situation that I’d prefer to erase. Easier, less painful that way. I don’t want to even go there.

Except it came in, from a cell phone, in a batch of 3 copies sent at exactly the same time. Crap. It triggered my “three times and it’s official” rule, and I KNEW it wasn’t accidental. As soon as I saw the three copies in my inbox, I got immediate goosebumps.

That’s another one of my triggers, the goosebumps. I get them when it’s something important to pay attention to. It’s like a poke, drawing my attention and confirming the message, “Hey Dixie! Your ass should be paying attention now.”

“Damn it!” I said to myself.  I did listen. I managed it, but it took me a few days to be capable of hearing it. That’s how long it took, for my emotions to simmer down enough.

The latest message I’m avoiding is one I’ve put off for a LONG time now…that I need to clean out my house. Not clean like vacuum, but go through belongings, dig through closets and under beds and in cabinets. And remove whatever doesn’t fit anymore. But my monkey mind with it’s monkey schedule can always find a million and two things more pressing, more appealing, and just more compelling.

It’s coming. I know better than to fight it, and yet, I still do. I just know it’s going to shake a lot of stuff loose–like maybe something I didn’t even know was in my head and/or energy field–and while I want the benefit, the impact, well…the process is just not so very appealing. Le sigh.

Do you ignore your messages? For how long and to what ends?

Recognizing Spiritual Signs?

sign from god

Is this a sign?

I’ve mentioned my “three times and it’s official” policy before–how many times I have to notice something before I declare it on my radar. But really, anything I take notice of counts.

Maybe I am writing about something, and get an email on the same topic. Maybe I see the same word, phrase or idea repeated within a few minutes. Maybe it’s a theme, or an image that pops up that brings something to my attention.

Getting signaled, I sometimes feel a kind of internal “click” of recognition, a release of tension, or just a sense of knowing. If it’s an especially important realization, I might  get goosebumps. I’ve established all this as indications to pay attention.

How do you recognize your signs?
