What’s your point? Weekly Flow Tarot, Oct. 27 – Nov 1, 2014

weekly-tarot-flow-oct27-nov1

Ever undertook a project that you never would have undertaken, had you had any clue how much it would entail? Don’t feel bad if the answer is a resounding, “Yes!” by the way. Sometimes, I think this is a trick my invisible friends use to get me to do just about anything. This week’s forecast makes me think of that phenomena. It’s the last mile of some journey, the part where you’re sick and tired of the whole shebang but there is still more to be done. Not a lot more, mind you. But more nonetheless.

But regardless of the weekly forecast, there is some reason to rejoice: Mercury has gone direct! He’s still a bit mottled in his shadow period for a few days, but before the week is out, he’ll be up to his regular hijinks. So let’s sit back a minute and thank God for that!

Okay, down to business!

Monday, Unconscious Desires – Knight of Wands: Be aware of just how bad you’re itching to break free. The Knight of Wands doesn’t know how to sit still; he’s always burning to get a move on. It would be easy enough to rationalize doing what you really want to do anyway. I’m not saying what you want to do isn’t the best choice. Just know WHY, okay?

Tuesday, Advice – Nine of Wands: This is quite an overwhelming scene! But in the position of “Advice,” the Nine of Wands is going to tell you to finish your business. Make sure each and every one of those Zombies is double-tapped, really dead and/or otherwise neutralized before moving on.

Wednesday, Coworkers – Nine of Cups: A lovely reprieve in the middle of what looks like it could be a challenging week. You have HELP. Woot for help! Whether this is a literal coworker, or a family member or friend who fills that role, there is a happy place here, a haven away from stress and strife, courtesy another who works by your side.

Thursday, Significator – Seven of Pentacles: What is the point, today, this whole week? Very clearly, what you’re building for the future. Lessons learned, seeds planted, foundation laid. That’s it!

Friday, Present – The Lovers: A good day not only for romance, but for appreciating what you have in the NOW. Because we are in the present, and we do have love in our lives. Right?

Saturday, What to Avoid – The Chariot: It’s unusual for me to draw a card like the Chariot in the position of “what to avoid,” since it’s generally a positive vibe. Not to mention it’s a bit at odds with the overall trend of the week, so it particularly catches my attention in such a context.  I want to say to you, be committed to your ultimate outcome, but not the road that must be travelled to get there. These are two different things, you know? Sometimes those side trips provide you with a lot more than you would have ever known if you hadn’t had any detours.

Sunday, Clarification – Ten of Swords: Overwhelm sinks in. Not my preference for wrapping up the week, but I just draw ‘em, I don’t pick ‘em! In the context of clarification, though, I’m going to say there has been a whole lot more going on than perhaps you were aware of throughout the week. That knowledge could well hit like a ton of bricks. Give yourself space to process.

Overview/Advice – The Empress: Throughout the week, keep in mind what you are actually creating here, what you’re giving birth to ultimately. That’s the point. That’s the reason for sticking things out until you’ve done what you need to do, and learned what you need to learn. The theme all week has been perseverance, yes, but not blind perseverance! It’s not about pure stubbornness. It’s conscious, guided perseverance we’re going for, as the Chariot and Empress gently remind.

Affirmation –Violet: Create a balanced life. It’s not always easy, it is? Not for me at least! All toghether, this weekly flow Tarot reminds me of a couple of questions that often come in handy for me:

  • What do I hope to accomplish here?
  • How is the action I’m contemplating contributing to that goal?

If you can honestly answer those two questions, you’re good to go. What’s your point? That’s what you need to be aware of this week. Know your point, know what you want to create, and you’ll have some direction in doing it.

Do you know your point?

Serpentine! Weekly Flow Tarot, Oct. 12 – 18

Weekly Flow Tarot Oct 13 - 18

I currently find myself in a very strange position: becoming successful in a venue I had given up on. It’s something I put a huge amount of energy into several years ago, doing my absolute best to make it work, but failed to turn it into what I’d envisioned. I’d let it go and (I thought) moved on. But somehow, when I wasn’t really looking, boom! Pretty much overnight this all-but-abandoned venture is now taking off and I’m in the center of an energetic swirl.

I’m still adjusting. And you know, I probably should be celebrating, but I’m not so much. I am incredibly grateful, don’t get me wrong. I know it’s a gift and I’m not one to intentionally waste gifts. But I’m also terribly confused. This is nothing like what I imagined! There is plenty of ugly that goes with the flowers. And I honestly don’t know why it showed up in my lap. There are people so much more qualified, more deserving. Who am I? That’s what I ask myself. But for better or worse, it’s here and it’s my job to make dinner out of what’s on my plate. Us woo-woo folks get just as confused by life as everybody else. Maybe more sometimes because we straddle more than one world.

But the forecast this week? Totally smacks of that vibe. Confusing success with a side of what-the-Hell?

Because it’s that time of the year, I am pulling out the Zombie Tarot for the next few weeks. This deck being who it is, I also set the intention to only read the cards upright. Reversals in this deck are unnecessarily difficult to decode for me, so I’m reading upright. Duly noting, however, that almost all the cards stubbornly appeared reversed before I put them aright. Oy! So the week is still not easy—not surprising with the pesky Mercury rx. But we do what we can, huh?

Monday, Goal  – Ten of Cups: An optimistic start to the week, with a goal of idyllic bliss. That’s nice. Kind of wish I could end the forecast right here, huh? Unfortunately, if you get a look at the picture, chaos is not too far away and there is a zombie making progress in reaching the shore. Oops.

Tuesday, What you can Change – Four of Wands: Who has a key to “your house?” Who is in your intimate circle? Who gets invited to your party? That’s what the Four of Wands is talking about to me here. What you can change is who you open your door to and let into your psyche. Choose wisely.

Wednesday, Disappointment – Six of Wands: Since the Six of Wands is generally a card of victory and acclaim, having it paired with disappointment is an especially poignant combination. “Empty victory” comes to mind. To avoid disappointment with accomplishments, it’s a damned good idea to firmly bear in mind with what you really want to achieve. I can pretty much guarantee you, “success” looks different when you get there than it did in your head. Maybe not the main part, the meat-and-potatoes part, but the sexy, dessert, won’t-this-be-ever-so-keen-when-people-cheer-me? part. Keep your priorities foremost the whole time and you’ll know what’s up as you continue to climb the mountain.

Thursday, Problem – Three of Pentacles: We’re back to things not being as we’d planned. Life is off-script. Damn it! Work on your improv skills.

Friday, Relationship – Eight of Wands: Ah, too much going on to track! This feels somewhat frantic and confused to me. I know we’d all feel better with clear-cut, well-defined lines. Well, they ain’t there. Color pretty anyway and worry about the lines later. You’ll find them soon enough.

Saturday, What to Leave in the Past – Wheel of Fortune: I know sometimes life doesn’t work out as we’ve planned, but that doesn’t mean we’re excused from goal-setting completely. For me, the trick for effective goal setting is to focus on what I want to accomplish, the outcome more than the process. I do know the “close your eyes and hope for the best” process isn’t always advisable, though.

Sunday, Conscious Desires – The Hierophant: Oh my. This looks like a wish for somebody to just “lay it out” for us with a step-by-step how-to. I get that, I really do. But always, it’s about the individual choice. Alternatively, we could be talking an awareness of the need for alone, quiet time That would be a worthy indulgence.

Overview/AdviceQueen of Cups: Keep your emotions in check, while still honoring them. Listen to your feelings, and get quiet enough you can hear the inner voice. This looks like a week where there will be some surprises, and where staying balanced and centered requires specifically directed effort. Do I even need to say that effort is worth it?

AffirmationAqua: “Experience Peace & Calm.” Translation? Meditate! Downtime. Ground, center, devote some time to yourself and your own peace of mind.

Flexibility is key again this week. If someone shoots at you, don’t just stand wondering why on Earth they would do such a thing, when you’d never have guessed it coming. Serpentine! I have the distinct feeling those who adjust quickly, stay tuned in, and are quick to correct course when things don’t work out just so—while continuing to make rational steps towards things working out “just so”—will be the winners overall. My advice? Stay frosty and be ready to serpentine!

Damn. These cards are awfully loud and it feels like they are talking straight to me. Do you hear them talking to you, too?

The Power in Your Head: Weekly Flow Tarot, Oct. 6 – 12

Weekly Tarot Flow Oct 6 - 12

Whoa, that’s a lot of reversed cards in the upcoming forecast. And specifically, lots of reversed Pentacles! Mercury retro much?! When I see this much upside down, I know the week will feel upside down to a lot of people. Mercury is in retrograde so the inverted Earth energy is not too shocking, but do pay special attention to physical needs, details and taking care of business, okay? Looks like this will demand your full attention through the week, so don’t cut corners there.

Monday Attitudes and Thoughts – Ten of Pentacles Reversed: While I prefer this card upright, it’s not awful even reversed. In the position of “attitudes and thoughts,” I’m thinking a potential tendency toward self pity and negative comparisons of yourself to family members or inner circle. Seeing yourself as coming up short, be it in money, resources, skills or just good luck. Because this is about what’s going on in your head, however, you DO have control over it. If you find yourself indulging in this kind of thinking…well, quit it! A gratitude listing should fix you up in short order.

Tuesday, Friends and Family – Four of Pentacles Reversed:  This is wondering if everybody around you is about to lose it. Har! Like, you’re not sure if it’s them, or you, or what. But stability seems a little elusive looking out the window. I’d suggest giving the world some personal space and make sure your own house is in order. After all, that’s really all we’ve got anyway. You know?

Eclipse 2014Wednesday, What is Hidden – Nine of Pentacles Reversed: This one is a little hard to put my finger on…it’s like lessons not learned that you thought you had covered, you know? With this right in the middle of Mercury Retrograde and a full moon eclipse, I’m going to say it’s likely to become obvious what has been missed, IF you’re specifically looking for it. My astrology people, you will want to look at what house Aries 15 degrees occupies in your natal chart and decide what you’d like to let go of in that area of your life. A great opportunity to write it down on paper, verbally state your intention to release it, and burn it right up! Look to what’s missing as you let go of what you are releasing for the full moon. I am thinking of this sort of like a puzzle with a piece in the middle missing. You can sort out what it is by the surrounding picture.

Thursday, Situation – Three of Cups Reversed: Distracted friends and community is how I’m reading this. Here’s a hint: LOTS of people are under stress at the moment. Big transitional time for many. I should know, I’m a Tarot reader! If your people aren’t quite “with it” today and not fully present for you, don’t take it personally. It’s not. Be kind out there and add a little to the light in the world.

Friday, Underlying Influences – Three of Pentacles Reversed: Incomplete or inadequate planning processes will be highlighted today. I don’t think that means disaster. I think it means stay on your toes and be ready to change directions quickly as situations shift. Flexibility is your friend, says the woman with a lot of mutable planets.

Saturday, Crowning Influences – King of Cups Reversed: Sometimes, I say I am “out of emotional bandwidth.” That’s kind of a geeky way to describe this vibe. You know how children have this special skill for asking parents for permission when parents are tired, distracted, or otherwise just don’t feel like fighting? Well today, you are that exhausted parent. Don’t agree tonight to what you’ll resent tomorrow. Sleeping on big decisions, light scheduling and permission for naps recommended!

Sunday, Negative Influences – Queen of Swords: The harsh side of this Queen can come out as brutal honesty, lack of empathy or a mechanistic equation in place of acknowledging the human factor as being relevant. She can also be quite critical. Her secret is that she is as critical of herself as everyone else, and that it doesn’t usually make her very happy. Cut yourself some slack today, okay?

Advice/Overview – King of Swords: Practical, practical, practical and prioritizing gets you through this week! You do have choices on how you frame your circumstances, what activities to which you devote your energy, and how you re-route when it feels like your life is not heading in the direction you want. I’m seeing this as a big ol’ to-do list, with the most important items starred. Organization helps. If you’re overwhelmed, go into triage mode and take care of what’s most pressing. Don’t waste a lot of time or energy on what doesn’t really matter. And for God’s sakes, don’t waste your precious life force on self-criticism. It’s not a sin to make mistakes—we all do and plenty–but it’s a lot closer to sin to let those mistakes define you. Because that, my friends, is a waste and that’s sad.

Affirmation: “Every ‘reality” has been focused by someone into being.” Even if you’re not all “law of attraction” in your beliefs, the fact is that your conscious framing of experiences has a HUGE impact on the subjective nature of those experiences. Blessed or cursed, rich or poor, fat or skinny, happy or sad? These conditions are not merely a function of circumstance nearly so much as they are function of perception. You get to choose your perceptions by what thoughts and feelings you feed.

This week is all about the power in your head! If you manage your thoughts well, you’ll manage the week well. If you are generous with others’ failings, you’ll feel some grace over your own. If you actively reach for gratitude, you’ll feel blessed. This is true all the time, but this week? You’ll be able to see it more concretely than usual. It may well point out to you something you’d like to release for the Full moon. All in all, I’d suggest taking full advantage.

Happy Full Moon Eclipse!

You ready to let something go this week?

Open Door Policy? Weekly Flow Tarot, Sept 29–Oct 5

Weekly Tarot Sept 29 - Oct 5

I’m getting kind of used to seeing the inverted cards in the weekly lineups, especially with Mercury in it’s shadow, prepping for an upcoming retrograde. (Astrology newbies: That means communication, short travel and electronics get wonky for a few weeks while Mercury appears to be moving backwards in the sky…it’s a good time to do anything that starts with “re” as in review, revisit and rethink. I love doing editing projects during Mercury retrograde, it’s a perfect time for it!) I’m thinking this one is going to pack a punch because I’ve started feeling it earlier than I normally do—I’ve got a lot of Mercury energy. But what are you going to do? You work with what you’ve got, man.

With two cards from the Major Arcana in this weekly and another in the overview slot, I think the week unquestionably has importance in individual lives, these events carry some weight. But what I notice about these particular Majors is that they are all “quiet” cards. These are not loud, not flashy or showy, not dramatic energy. These are more like quiet, but deeply meaningful moments. So stay attuned throughout the week for small incidents that have big meaning. The overriding themes I’m seeing here are revolving around integrity, saying “no” and setting boundaries.

I’m thinking this next week is largely going to be full of choices about what we want to invite into our home/dixiblog/domains/afoolsjourney.com/public_html versus when we decide to shut (and lock) the door. And make no mistake: these are choices! You may not choose individual events in your life, what crops up but you do choose how you process those events. You dig what the distinction I’m making here? This week, that’s the subtle distinction we’re talking. This is a week of opening and shutting doors in your life, not so much from outside events, but instead an internal decision-making process.

Monday, Others – Six of Wands: We start the week off on a high note with appreciation and acknowledgement for leadership ability. I cannot say if it’s you that’s appreciated or you that’s doing the appreciating, but either way, it’s a positive vibe. To make the best use of it, share the glory if it’s showing up in your lap. And if you’re seeing greatness among your group, acknowledge it, appreciate it, and emulate it. It’s an “everybody wins” kind of vibe.

Tuesday, Resolution – Temperance inverted: Today, resolution comes from specifying what you do NOT want. It’s not a compromise, it’s not a blending of goals. It’s a clarification, and one only YOU can make.

Wednesday, Advice – High Priestess inverted: Advice here is to speak up and act on what you know. Do not assume everybody else already knows. Don’t sit back or be a bystander. Act on intuition, act on secret information, and keep moving. The time is now!

Thursday, Unconscious Desires – Two of Wands: Do you secretly relish a sense of competition, perhaps without even being aware? If there has been an me-against-them dynamic in development, you will find that highlighted today. Make sure you understand where your motivations are coming from to make clear-headed decisions.

Friday, Friends and Family – Ten of Wands: The opinion of loved ones may feel like a burden today. Remember, it’s YOUR choice which of these you take on as your own, if any. You are never responsible for how someone else feels. You are responsible for making your own choices and being kind. But do not equate kindness to capitulation. Kindness comes from your heart, it’s a state of being and good intention. Kindness NEVER requires you abandon your values or needs. It merely requires your heart is open, true and generating love. Are the wands you are carrying yours?

Saturday, Attitudes and Thoughts, King of Pentacles inverted: Yesterday catching up! A tiredness of taking care of everyone else, making accommodations for other people in any and all venues. Suggestion: Seat yourself at the head of the “to be taken care of” table and make rejuvenation a priority.

Sunday, Present, Ace of Cups inverted: You may feel a bit drained as the weekend wraps up. Me-time is always a good option when this comes up. Give yourself a little space to feel however you feel, and permission to indulge in peaceful, easy behavior today.

Overview/Advice – Hermit Inverted: There is a difference between isolating and taking time away from the world’s bustle for your own mental, emotional and spiritual health. There is also a difference between learning from an distinguished teacher and adopting the conclusions of some guru wholesale, tossing aside your own critical facilities in the process. Here, you want the downtime but not disconnection. You want to look to others for inspiration but not for answers. The answers, always, are yours.

Affirmation: Aura Cleanse. At the end of a tough day, any time you’re feeling tired or drained or overwhelmed, hop in the shower or bath and cleanse your body with the intention of also (magically) cleansing your aura of worry, stress, negative energy, anything that is not healthy or helpful for you. Essential oils like lavender or rosemary would be a great addition, or adding a tea made of rose and hyssop might be nice. Pray over the oils or herbs as you mix them up (to whome/dixiblog/domains/afoolsjourney.com/public_htmlver you pray to) infusing them with your intention, and allow all those stressors to drain out of the tub as the water drains. Seriously. This is good medicine!

This doesn’t look like a super easy-breezy week but you know what? I like these cards anyway. I think they are important. I think the things we say “no” to here keeps those chairs around our table free for the “yes” guests, you know? We’re not spending our emotional capital on junk food, we have a budget for healthy energetic eating. That’s how I see this week—like purging and clearing a space, to make way for your new awesome to fill it. I’m in!

Are you ready?! How you holding up, peeps?

Pity Party or Pruning? Weekly Flow Tarot, September 22 -28

Weekly Flow Tarot, Sept 22 -28

Looking at this week as a whole doesn’t make me feel at ease, to put it mildly. This flow does have a transitional feel to it, though, where the biggest obstacles to changes are completely internal. It’s not what’s going on nearly as much as how you feel about it. On the plus side, this gives us a very useful opportunity…

Monday, What to Avoid – High Priestess Reversed: Avoid being duplicitous. It’s liable to backfire. It’s also quite possible what you think is a secret is not-so-secret after all. Do not act on the assumption other people don’t know what’s up, as they may well know more than you give them credit for knowing. Your best defense here is discretion, sure, but maintain utter honesty and integrity what you do share. And for God’s sakes, don’t go blabbing anyone else’s business. Not a good day for gossip! You’ll likely get outed for being the big mouth.

Tuesday, Mind – Hierophant Reversed: Unconventional and unusual thoughts may fill your head throughout the day. This is neither good nor bad but is. I would not assume everybody is thinking what you are, because they probably aren’t. And if you get a flash of inspiration, make note. Your mind is probably making some unusual connections today.

Wednesday, Significator – Eight of Cups Reversed: The significator is YOU. So somebody (read: you) may be having trouble leaving the past in the past. Ask yourself, “What am I really bothered by?” if you get upset today. Good chance you’ll find an old hurt that needs to be healed underneath any over-reaction that crops up.

Thursday, Future – Page of Pentacles Reversed: One thing at a time, okay? You may feel frustration you’re not as far along in executing plans as you’d like. Make a list, and check it off one little bit at a time. That’s WAY more effective that getting upset or overwhelmed because you aren’t getting where you want to go. Just take a little step in the right direction, and you’ll make it eventually.

Friday, Problem – Nine of Swords: Anxiety and embarrassment over past mistakes can really be getting in your way right about now. Can you come to terms with the past, seeing it as a vehicle for growth instead of proof of hopelessness? Is there anyone you can reach out to? Because this being alone in your worries thing makes them that much bigger and badder than they need to be.

Saturday, Conscious Desires – Knight of Swords: Freedom! This is a very palpable desire for freedom. Look for opportunities to be entirely yourself, safety to speak your mind directly, and communicate what’s most important to you. It would be a great day for stimulating conversations with trusted friends,  uncensored writing or an afternoon of artistic self-expression.

Sunday, Spirit – King of Wands Reversed: The world has weighed like a web blanket on your soul through the week. But I’m wondering, is it really the world? Or is it more your vision of the world not being how it “should” be? I’d like to get this King upright and you feeling like you’re back in the driver’s seat. To do this, I would suggest the question, “What am I trying to accomplish?” Because that question really gets to the heart of a lot of wheel-spinning.

Overview/Advice – Queen of Swords: All week, there is threat of feeling weighed down by outside factors. But sometimes, we give outside factors WAY too much credit. Outside factors can impact our lives obviously, but they cannot choose how we feel about our lives! Our attitude and happiness are within our control, stressors notwithstanding. Your job this week is to strive for balance, fair and even-handed thinking.  You actually are looking at a silver-platter-opportunity to cut some dead-weight attitudes out of your world. Because problematic thinking patterns will be highlighted, pain this week is like a neon sign pointing to what is not working for you. You can opt to spend the week hosting a pity party for one, or you can spend the week doing some emotional pruning.

Affirmation – Exercise your vibes. Any time is a good time to get into the habit of listening to your inner voice. But if you don’t practice listening, you won’t hear it! Keep it light and fun at first, as this makes it easier to connect. Maybe play, “If I were psychic, I’d say…” and just see what comes out of your mouth! Make it into a “what if” game. Practice in ways that have low stakes, so when the stakes are higher, you are more confident in the validity of your vibes. This week looks to be chock-full of opportunities to turn inward, seek clarity, and get very clear on how your emotional state impacts your experience. Clearing away old issues helps amp up your vibes considerably. I’d take advantage of this opportunity!

Are you feeling the “world is a wet blanket” about now?

Lion to Lamb – Weekly Flow Tarot Forecast, Aug 25 – 31

Tarot Forecast

Seeing the week start out with so many of the Wands, I am thinking we begin with some heat, some motion and a lot of activity. Expecting a busy week, with recuperation needs to catch up with us at the end of the week. The flow here reminds me of the old phrase about March, in like a Lion, out like a Lamb? That’s this week. Roaring on Monday all the way through napping on Sunday.  So plan your activities to tackle high energy demands early in the week and you’ll be more free to flow into the end of the week with less stress.

Monday, Lesson – Queen of Wands: Why me? Sometimes when faced with challenges, we ask ourselves, “why me?” This queen would tell you, it’s because you need to know you are strong, because your will is being clarified, because you need to prioritize and crystallize your intentions. She says that life is the sandpaper that smooths the wood. The Queen of Wands teaches the lessons of strength, perseverance and single-mindedness to complete a quest. Emulate her today and you’ll graduate this lesson with a passing grade at least.

Tuesday, Situation – Page of Wands: Think active, laying the groundwork for what is to come. Pages are young, so things are just getting started. There may be big plans, exciting plans, or a message with possibilities. This is a day for setting the stage. If you have to-do tasks for long term goals, employment related chores, or the inspiration to begin a creative project, it’s an excellent time for starting to get things in order. Just understand there may be changes and morphing along the way. But for now, getting started is what counts.

Wednesday, What you can Change –King of Wands: Quite literally, you can change what you DO. You cannot control what anybody else does, or thinks or believes. But you can change what you do. So if you want a change in what’s going on, make a change in what you do. Keep following through with what you started earlier in the week.

Thursday, Coworkers – Strength: Get some extra patience, help and support from those you are working with, or offer some up if you’ve got some to spare. Here, “coworkers” can be anyone with whom you share common objectives. The idea being that getting through life’s difficulties is a whole lot easier if done in a group, and that group support is on offer right now. Gentle, easy-going and patience, it doesn’t have to be dramatic. But the results of group endeavors might be. Just not the endeavor itself.

Friday, Conscious Desires – Hanged Man Inverted: Tap, tap, tap, foot tapping! This is impatience. This is an urge to “meddle” and mess and an undercurrent of anxiety. There’s an itch to just “do something.” I’d say most likely, you’ll have trouble completing something concrete, it’s sort of a hard-to-grasp energy here. But you can make lists, contingency plans, organize and classify. That counts as “something” that can be done. So do it, and then take yourself a walk to burn off nervous energy. Ground, okay? Ground.

Saturday, Blocking or Covering – Two of Wands reversed: Are you feeling kind of insecure, wall-flowerish? That timid response can be a liability if nobody understands what you’re trying to say. Be clear. Stand up for yourself as needed without being argumentative. Being clearly yourself and clear about yourself doesn’t start a standoff. It helps avoid misunderstandings.

Sunday, Body – Ace of Cups: An emotional day, or day to emotionally recover. Time outside, time around the water, meditation and overall quiet does an awful lot of good. I’m also getting the feeling we really just need a chance to process the rest of the week! Don’t overbook today. Allow spaces between the activities because the most important parts of this day happen in the spaces.

Overview/Advice – 10 of Cups Reversed: You may not see consensus among those you care about this week. Family and the family of friends you call your own might not see everything eye-to-eye with you. That’s okay. You don’t have to agree with someone to love them anyway! Otherwise, we’d only have to look in the mirror for companionship. I’d be very aware throughout the week of putting the love first, the opinions and differences clearly second. You know what I mean? Peace is worth cultivating. You have to make your own decisions, and should. Just don’t let differences in perspective drive a wedge between you and loved ones. Opinions change, but people that give a damn about you are VALUABLE. If feelings are getting a bit raw, seek space to allow a little cool down time. That helps. And look forward to some nap time on Sunday if you can!

Affirmation: “Woo-Woo” is wonderful. Love this one! Be you, free and true. One of the toughest things for people to get over when they are really kicking in with tuning in to their own intuition, more into the “woo” as we say, is NOT outside criticism although there is that aplenty. It’s the self-criticism that shuts them down! Without it, they can begin to hear the inner voice and getting that kick-ass guidance system fully operating. Stop worrying about how or why or God help us, what next, what next?!? Just DO. This is a great week—okay, I think every week is a great week for really turning the connection on high.

We’re starting out on fire, so make the early week active as Hell, knock out as much as you can, allow others to be there for you as they show up, and sink back into the comfy chair to figure out what happened next weekend. But through it all, be YOU, be honest with yourself and take deep breaths to listen, listen, listen to what your gut tells you. Don’t you know, it never steers you wrong?

Does this fit your week’s schedule?! Sounds busy, sometimes kind of challenging, but damn productive. Go get ‘em!
