Nine of Wands & Four of Pentacles: Personal Stability First

When people say someone would “give them the shirt off their own back,” it’s meant as a compliment of generosity.  But in reality, giving more than you can comfortably give isn’t a very good idea.

First of all, it’s not sustainable. You need win-win scenarios to be sustainable.

And secondly, it doesn’t convey a message of hope. It conveys the idea that the giver is strong and capable, but the recipient is not. It’s a far more useful gift to help someone find their own strength than demonstrate your own.  This is especially true if you aren’t sure of your own stability and resources. That’s a very temporary fix and one you’ll likely to resent eventually.

Next Week in Tarot

Nine of Wands & Four of Pentacles: Personal Stability First 1

This week for the outlook we have exhaustion (Nine of Wands), with advice coming in the form of the Miser (Four of Pentacles) from the beautiful Osho Zen Tarot.

Oy! But we can do this.

Exhaustion is pretty self-explanatory. Exhaustion is about having too much going on, too many moving parts, ending in a bone-weariness from trying to make everything happen just so. I’ve found I’m much more likely to reach this point personally when I try to hold myself responsible for stuff that’s not mine. My own stuff is enough!

If you ever hear yourself asking, “But if I don’t, who will?” Well, that’s a sure sign your nose is in business that’s not yours.

The advice to be “the Miser” may be a bit of a surprise to some of y’all, but I understand it perfectly.

Conserve your energy. Don’t expend resources at a rate you’re not comfortable with just because it looks to you like someone else needs help. Put your own needs first!

Now, people may be thinking this advice is selfish. But I don’t have the same concept of selfishness most do.

First of all, our perspective can only be “selfish.” No matter how hard we try to take into account the opinions of others, we have no option but to see the world from a personal perspective, the perspective of self. Anything else is at best, guesswork.

Many equate the idea of selfishness with fulfilling personal needs at the expense of others. But that is a definition of predatory behavior, not looking after the self! Preying on others does not build up the self, it diminishes it. It’s a form of self-harm, in addition to being hurtful to others. It’s true many predators may not realize this consciously, but that behavior signals weakness and fear, not the kind of “selfishness” I advocate.

When we prioritize our own need, it puts us in the best possible position to be of service to the bigger world. It’s exactly when I’m most healthy, strong and stable–both physically and energetically–I have the most significant value to contribute. In order to stay that way, I have to manage my own needs first.

This coming week, pace yourself and keep account of your own resources, physical or otherwise. Of course you can help out whomever you’d like, but make your offers from a position of strength, always. Furthermore, make sure any assistance acknowledges and amplifies the competence of those you are assisting. Think in terms of encouragement rather than rescue and you’ll be on the right track.

[bctt tweet=”There are infinite ways to help that don’t imply ‘You are incapable.’ Focus on those.” username=”goddess_dix”]

Make space for self-care and manage your resources wisely this week. The rest will work itself out without any trouble.

Are you managing your resources effectively?

Crafting your Life | Tarot Forecast, Week of 4/3 – 4/9/17

I once had an astrologer tell me that if she didn’t already know me, she’d think I was crazy (due the insane amount of Mercury’s influence in my chart). I laughed for days about that.

No denying I’ve got a touch of the crazy–the good kind that is; it’s entertaining crazy. Not the scooting-over-on-public-transit kind of crazy. My flavor of crazy would be welcome at parties. If I went to parties.

Basically once my thoughts get really moving, it’s like a barreling train. NOTHING is going to stop that train, or so it feels. The ideas! The plans! The inspiration! I want to do this and that and that and that other thing. Wouldn’t this be great?!? It goes all over the place and it moves very, very fast. It’s a wonderful ride.

Until I put the brakes on myself, that is.

How? What if this or that happens? How can I avoid this problem that I don’t yet have?

That bucket of cold water gets dumped right onto my steam engines, ending the thrill ride prematurely. I don’t fault myself because it’s never been intentional, but I do try to catch myself now. Because those little blasts of “crazy” are not only exhilarating, but the inspirations are priceless to me. The are a true expression of who I really am. Not to mention, it’s a whole Hell of a lot of fun.

This week, you can either put wood or water on the fire via how you steer your emotional state.

[bctt tweet=”Just ‘do’ you; doing you is always just right. #OnMyRadar” via=”no”]

With 2 of the 3 cards I pulled being Pentacles–the Moon, the Four of Pentacles and the Three of Pentacles–we’re looking at real-world manifestations. My misreading the Moon as the Sun in the video doesn’t really impact the forecast in that the elements I was pulling was still applicable to the message I felt needed conveying. I like it when I can’t get it wrong!

The short version: Emotions first. Get stable. And then plan!

Get set, stable and firm emotionally, and then work on perfecting whatever aspects of your life that you’re focusing on now. The emotional work comes first: peace, groundedness, and centeredness. In your joy, you’ll see the world more in line with how your eternal spirit sees the world. The power of that perspective gives you tremendous leverage and “luck,” as we know it. This is exactly how you move forward.

And if you’re not feeling peaceful or you cannot find a hint of calm? Well, be okay about that, too! Wherever you’re at is where you’re at, and that’s okay too, you know? There is no way to be wrong here, no way to be “too far off the reservation” to go someplace you like. It could take a minute, if you’re not in the best headspace but it’s always, always, always possible. The Universe has many ways to deliver the goods, not just that one turn that you didn’t take back a ways. The real issue isn’t where you are right now, but only that you’re improving where you are. That’s all that matters.

You could go up or down. But choosing one intentionally is a lot better that sitting back and letting what you’re seeing out in the world decide for you.

BE the being of light and love that you are, fully. This makes your life a truer expression of who YOU are, the light of your soul. Remember that you’re crafting your life, day by day. Whatever you make at any given point will carry the energy you bring to it.

How’s your energy looking lately?

Be well!

Starling Advice: Tarot Forecast, Jan 9 -15

Our office window birdfeeder has attracted a string of different birds, and I watch them come and go. Lots of finches, because hey, finches run in packs. The cardinals come, often both Mr. and Mrs. And just like old, married couples, they start to look alike after a while. The big blue jays that grab the big nuts and glide off. Warblers galore and beautiful bird songs off and on all day.

The Starlings have really been speaking to me, standing out. But then again, they were kind of born to stand out, no? With the iridescent sheen and the little dots like stars in the night sky, how could you miss them?

Starlings are known for being gregarious birds–and for their imitations. They imitate not only many other birds, but also mimic environmental sounds and have local dialects. They are studied for insight into the development of language.

And while they are fairly aggressive birds, they also know how to work in in a group. The grace of their flock dances defy description.

This is a week to be as the Starlings would suggest–be your beautiful, iridescent self, always. Of course. Don’t shy back and hide, but stay flexible in your communication. Keep your action in keeping with what you want to be about, you know? Going with the flow, (gracefully) is highly recommended.

Starling Advice: Tarot Forecast, Jan 9 -15 2

Lots of Pentacles coming up, with a smattering of swords. So we’ve got our primary focus on results, concrete, physical, flesh and blood manifestations. Not so much emotional focus or mental focus.Outcomes are emphasized over conceptual issues. So let’s dive in!

Monday, Nine of Pentacles rx:  Don’t nitpick. Upright, this card shows a very refined, clean approach. Reversed, something is not quite there yet, missing a little something. But relax into it and understand it’s a process, just like you’re a work in progress. It’s fine, wherever you’re at in it. Enjoy and appreciate what IS working right and don’t make a big deal about what is still coming into refinement.

Tuesday, Page of Pentacles: You will begin to get some clarity on the types of issues bothering you yesterday. The message will be recieved. Look for it and work with it.

Wednesday, The Empress: Great day for creative pursuits. The Empress is the Tarot mama. Great day also for self care (and isn’t creativity a form of self care)? Great day to make something, bake something, nurture someone else or yourself. A warm, fuzzy day. So enjoy it.

Thursday, Ace of Wands rx: May be a delay getting started on something you wanna get rolling. That’s okay! Don’t stress, just let it be. It will come together in time. Let it go and keep on doing what you’re doing.

Friday, Five of Pentacles rx: Possibility for overreaction. I’m seeing a kid crying themselves silly after dropping an ice cream cone. Overreaction to small losses due a limited perspective. However you feel is fine. I’m not saying to feel bad over how you feel. Just don’t amp up unhappy thoughts by playing them on autoloop. If you’re feeling like something is a really, really big deal today, fair enough. It matters because it’s important to you. But do what you can to soothe yourself and understand with a little perspective, you will see it differently.

Saturday, Three of Swords rx: Adjusting to something you want that feels missing. Reversed, it’s an opportunity for healing if you’ll allow it. It’s a choice, what feelings you ramp up vs. what you let go. It’s within your capacity and any rawness there is actually on the mend.

Sunday, Four of Pentacles rx: A little anxiety going down. It’s not necessarily based in reality. I’m seeing this as internal. Very much what’s going on in the head, not in the world. You may be anxious or there may be a rawness in the world at large. So look to soothe the anxiety without trying to take action to “correct” the situation.

Overview/Advice, Nine of Swords rx: Anxiety or guilt may be players, with some having difficulty sleeping this week. Let go as much as you can because the Self-Blame Express ain’t doing anything useful for anybody. If you do the “what if, what if, what if” disaster scenarios, stop! You’re amping up unrest. Try to catch yourself quickly before it picks up steam and is harder to redirect. And your week will feel so much nicer, even if the objective circumstances are exactly the same. Pretty neat trick, don’t you think?

Affirmation: When I reverse the thought, I reverse the condition. Sorry if you’re not a Law of Attraction person. But the idea is, there is nothing in life that cannot be changed. You use your emotions as your guide. For example, if you have chronic pain–it’s hard to ignore, in your face. You don’t have a choice as to where you are with that in the moment it’s happening, other than how you think about it.

You can have that pain and feel angry, scared, or frustrated. You can also have it and feel hopeful, believing it will get better, or intentionally distracted by other things. The pain may be the exact same physical manifestation, but the experience of it is much different. You may be in a place you don’t want to be. You can either suffer a great deal by dumping unhappiness on top of it, or you can reach for the best feeling, most optimistic thought you have access to. If you reach for better-feeling, what you live is the best you have access to in the moment. How justified any feelings are doesn’t matter pragmatically. If I’m choosing between justified anger or unjustified happiness? No contest.

[bctt tweet=”Happiness does NOT require justification.” via=”no”]

Grab onto the best-feeling thoughts you have access to and ride them up. Over time it will raise your vibration and improve your experience without regard to outside conditions. You see how there is freedom in being able to always pull yourself back to center? Just keep bringing yourself back, bringing yourself back, again and again and you’ll find your life shifting in ways you really like.

Stay in the flow and you’ll fare well, even if it takes you a minute to realize.

Do you get advice from the birds?

Mood Management: Tarot Forecast, Jan 2 – 8, 2017

Sometimes when I’m out and about, people will come up to me to comment on my hair.

Some are complimentary, or they tell me I’m brave. That amuses me a little.

Because I’m not scared of hair color. I’m not scared of looking funny for a little while if something goes weird. But most of all (and what they are usually talking about), I’m not scared of other people disapproving of me.

Happens all the time.

Really, I like when that happens. As we live as true to ourselves as possible, others will disapprove. Which is quite convenient, if you ask me. The ones that don’t vibe with me get pre-sorted out, no fuss. They can be with their people and I, with mine.

Reactions are personal to the reactor, not the recipient. Reactions are never really about what that person is seeing so much as they are about how an individual interprets what they see. There is always a filter of belief coloring reaction.

[bctt tweet=”Beliefs are the filters we forget we are peeking through. #OnMyRadar” via=”no”]

We get to pick, what beliefs to hold. We get to filter the color of our own reactions. That’s a useful little trick, right there.

Mood Management: Tarot Forecast, Jan 2 - 8, 2017 3

My sense of the coming week is like subjectivity on steroids. It’s feeling watery as Hell. Whether one likes the sensation or not all that much, it behoves us all to wide whatever waves we’ve got as best we can, no? Plus we can get some fun out of the deal.

Monday, Ace of Cups. There is a bit of a feeling of a fresh start. Reflective mood. Where have I been? Where am I going? Time to consider where you’re at emotionally. Contemplation will come naturally.

Tuesday, Strength rx: Just a little bit of impatience. All those fresh starts of the New Year may just not be as instant as you’d prefer. To deal, focus on one thing, one area of attention, and in that area, take one concrete, tangible act. If you intend to keep a nicer space, don’t feel overwhelmed. Pick up one small area, and fix THAT. The feelings of being overwhelmed and impatient can be sidestepped by allowing yourself more breathing space. It will help.

Wednesday, Nine of Swords upright: Pegging this as worry. Suspicion or paranoia possible. Trust is a bit elusive. If anything is not clear to you today, let it sit and clarify. It will clarify and your perceptions may be murky. No need to jump right on top of ambiguous stimuli. A lot of unrest is internal, so let the fog clear before drawing conclusions.

Thursday, The Magician: The garden grows according to what you plant. The finished building runs according to the foundation you lay. What you have now is an outcropping of what you laid down initially. Realize where you are is according to how you lay down the foundation. Not from a judgey/self-critical space. From a standing-in-your-personal power space. Focus and prioritize feeling good to reclaim your power.

Friday, Page of Pentacles Rx: Easy to drop a detail. Easy to miss a little something or other. Doublecheck and take your time. Go back over plans and give ’em a second readthrough. Be flexible. I’m seeing lateness, little annoyances. Be prepared for minor slowdowns, one thing at a time, easy on the multitasking, things will go smoother. Potential for miscommunication, someone “not getting the message” so be aware.

Saturday, Two of Pentacles rx: Something could easily fall through the cracks. I’m seeing someone oversleeping their alarm, missing a plane, etc. Have backup plans in place, and give yourself space to pick up any dropped stitches because there will be some. Then you’ll be sitting pretty.

Sunday, Four of Pentacles: Some ups and downs throughout the week, but a lot of them are just perceptual. This some rest and ease in stability. Some rest. You can exhale today.

Overview/Advice, Ten of Cups: Have as much fun as you can during the week. Don’t judge on terms of outside conditions. Judge in terms of how you feel, and prioritize your feelings. Many times in the choice between looking for a thought that feels good vs. accurate assessments, we choose accurate because we don’t want to feel foolish. But I’d argue to always assume the best. Even if you know it’s not all warm and fuzzy, it’s okay to remember it has nothing to do with you. Put lots of emphasis on being as happy as you can and it will make motion forward much easier.

Affirmation: I can deliberately reach for joyous thoughts. You don’t have control over many outside conditions. There are lots of things any of us look at and will think, this can be better. We all have the choice, how involved we want to be in other people’s heads, or do we want to just reach for joyous thoughts? Every disaster thus far has worked out. Look at what you feel better thinking.

The quality of the experience is about mood managements. You may not initially think it’s within your control but it is.

How are you with mood management?

Clearing Emotional Residue: Tarot Forecast, Dec 19 – 25

When I lost my butterfly bush, I thought I wouldn’t be able to attract birds anymore.

While someone may legitimately ask, “So the %&$# what?” it matters to me.

Birds are wonderful messengers. They are born to the work. Their traversing both earth and the heavens put them in a perfect position to bring us our bits and pieces of truth, and they’ve long been looked to as such, in many belief systems throughout history.

When I’ve been too emotionally wound up, Grackles have come to point it out. Robins show up to remind me, when I’m ready to focus on new growth. Cardinals and Woodpeckers and crows and hummingbirds, even a few owls have all come to visit me, each bearing their own insight and suggestions to offer.

After my former bird haven was no more, the husband suggested we attract some birds to the upstairs window, outside our office. I had never considered we’d be able to do that, But we decided we’d like that a lot, so we set about being open to inspiration about doing it.

And now? We’ve got a glorious parade of bird visitors all day, every day, just about 3 or 4 feet from where I sit and write these words. They eat and sing and look in the window and watch us, as we look out the window and watch them.

And I’m furiously happy about this.

I could have stayed mad, that my fabulous, bird-friendly bush was gone. But that felt awful. Instead, I found a lot more peace and comfort, focusing on what I did want. I wanted more birds. And that’s why I got more birds.

The difference here is exactly where you are choosing to spend your energy. A lot like the week we’ve got coming up.

Clearing Emotional Residue: Tarot Forecast, Dec 19 - 25 4

This week begins in a Mercury retrograde (and it was making itself felt early this go-’round),  so expect blasts from the past along with glitches and delays. Skills that increase your odds for having a good time include flexibility, padding your schedule to allow for hiccups, and soothing yourself emotionally to keep grounded and connected as much as possible. Keeping your emotional tone on track allows you to more easily sidestep aggravations and remain a naturally happy camper.

[bctt tweet=”You clear emotional residue by staying future focused. #OnMyRadar” via=”no”]

Monday, Queen of Pentacles: Welcome, Mercury Retrograde! Anything you can do to smooth the way, do. Add some “comfort room” wiggle into your schedule. During this retro–which I’m expecting to be widely felt as I felt it coming in stronger and earlier than normal–it’s best to give yourself extra breathing room and not so much a good idea to push the envelope or try to slide in at the last minute. Plan ahead, yo. Great day for a good dinner, for yourself and/or others. Take care of yourself, practical matters, finishing your list and getting geared up for the week ahead.

Tuesday, Four of Pentacles rx: Coming across to me as potential for nervousness or anxiety if you’re prone. In terms of the situations in your life, I would expect some snigs and snags but not major issues. A moderate or small amount of conflict. So don’t overreact. Delays, snags, whatever you would expect during Mercury rx. Understand there may be postponements. Keep the anxiety at bay by getting quiet and plugging in before taking action. It might FEEL like a big deal at the time, but I’m not seeing it will play out that way long term. It really IS okay.

Wednesday, Knight of Pentacles rx: Again, I want to say expect snags or hiccups. Being OCD about how things go this week will pretty much drive you insane. So if you tend to be especially fussy or particular, relax your standards here. The Knight of Pentacles reversed often shows a certain obsessiveness and over-attention to details, a rigidity. I see the potential for that and it’s not really where you want to go. So take it as it comes and stay flexible. Another thing that’s really helpful, is realizing, NOT EVERYBODY IS YOU. Just because you see something a certain way, a well-considered conclusion? This doesn’t equate to anyone disagreeing being confused, broken or a bad person. Be open to diversity of all kinds, including thoughts, feelings, priorities and values. Appreciate the beauty in all.

Thursday, Lovers rx: Not a bad card even inverted. In general, most are in a good space and wanting to be happy and get along. With the Mercury Rx irritations, there may be little hiccups in the day’s flow. So stay focused on the bigger picture. Many times you can shift from annoyed to at peace if you broaden perspective.

[bctt tweet=”Choosing between right and happy, always vote HAPPY. #OnMyRadar” via=”no”]

Friday, Five of Cups: Ugh! Not my favorite card. Day feels kind of heavy, morose, sad. Like sitting around thinking of what you’re missing–or who you’re missing–over the holiday. Not out-and-out intense pain, but a general sadness poking at people. To deal with it, make yourself a safe, supportive environment. I’m seeing someone snugging up on the couch with a big blanket and bowl of popcorn to watch a favorite movie. Whether you do something like that or not, ask yourself, “What do I enjoy? What makes me happy?” Do that. Find your happy space and go there!

Saturday, The Hanged Man: First, hold the faith, keep the faith, have the faith, be the faith. In terms of activity, the Hanged Man always tells us to sit, be still and quiet. Which is funny, because his energy is not actually inactive. But his action is internal, energetic. It’s connecting to source first, so whatever action follows later is inspired. Inspired action has real impact. Not busywork, do something to feel better, it’s plugged in, inspired activity. That’s where you get real leverage.

Sunday, Two of Swords Rx. Merry Christmas! In terms of the forecast, this card is saying to me, “Not your choice.” If the question is how someone else lives, what someone else things, who is unhappy, what life choices are being made, who is hopping on what drama train? NOT your choice. Not yours to figure out, untangle, untease, solve or otherwise remedy. Not your problem to solve. NOT your choice. This idea may bother you, but once you take this message to heart, it can be an incredible gift. If you can just love and wish well, without trying to fix, without tossing out your energy toward a whole lot of ends that will never give you joy, you’ll be much better off. Respond to what you want to respond to, and ignore the rest. Get on with your life! So all told, it’s a very empowering stance. Keep this in mind over family visits. Don’t worry about anything, just focus on your own choices and you’ll be much happier.

Overview/Advice, Eight of Cups Rx: Sometimes, the idea of saying “I don’t care about that anymorem” doesn’t automatically mean you’ve left it behind. During the course of the week, especially with Merc Rx, I’m expecting some emotional residue. Lots of reminders of the past, which we also see around the holidays. Think emotional echos. There’s not a lot to specifically do. Understand, it’s there. If you don’t want something to be a big part of your experience, you must focus your attention elsewhere. Mentally rewrite stories. We get so interested in being objective and factual and real, we end up rehashing the same vibration over and over and it turns it up. Change the context, details or perspective to better support you. As you change your story, how you feel changes and as how you feel changes, what you live changes.

Affirmation: Trust. Isn’t that a beautiful message? Trust that you’re okay. Trust that you’re where you need to be and everything is working out for you. Trust that it’s all okay in the bigger picture. People get bothered so much, and so much of the time the issues really aren’t that big of a deal. Life itself is a transitory experience. We’re here for a short time before going back to nonphysical reality. So there is really no way to “get this wrong” since we’re here to create our now and participate in the grand dance of consciousness. That’s worth so much more than who voted for the one you didn’t like or whatever. Plug in to what matters! Being kind, loving, happy? That’s what matters. Most everything else is optional.

Are you keeping that emotional residue to a minimum?

Hope you have a lovely, awesome holiday. Be well!

Mess is Part of the Process: Tarot Forecast, Sept. 19 – 25, 2016

I’ve been taken lately with thoughts about transitional times–those periods in life that are just out-and-out emotionally messy, where your world feels like it’s coming apart at the seams. I’ve yet to see anyone who revels in those transitions, but really? They are SO often later described as “the best thing that could have ever happened.”

Before anybody reaches out to slap me, hear me out, man.

Like when you’re cleaning a big mess of a room. Stage one involves moving stuff around, picking up and sorting, right? And for a while, that room looks like a much bigger mess than it did before you started? That.

Post eclipse (and with the goings-on I’m seeing and sensing coming up), we are definitely in a sort of transition. It feels smoother to me here and now than the preceding days in many ways, but I’d be the first to admit there is still a big pile of mess remaining.

But I don’t care about the mess. I know it’s part of the process. I guess I’m just weird in that I have a ceaseless pool of optimism from which to draw. I see this big mess as good, helpful, clarifying in the bigger picture. And that bigger picture is what matters most.

I’m staying, long range view here, folks. Long range view.

20160916_162916_hdr

Aside: I originally did this forecast as an audio file, so here’s that if you’d rather listen than read. It’s a little longer than the print version (and a good representation of how my readings flow in general).

This week, we’ve got a lot of reversals – Mercury is still retro. And it might take more than one try to get things done. Things are still happening but maybe not on your timetable. Chilling, suggested. One day, one step at a time.

Monday, Lovers: Smooth flowing day. Look for points of harmony, not points of dissention. Look for connections. Good day for a date night!

Tuesday, Death Rx: Not the end of the world, okay? There is disruption right now, but it’s not pointless disruption. It has a puprose. Things will continue to unfold. Don’t fight it, have faith. Go along with the ride and it can be fun.

Wednesday, King of Pentacles rx: Don’t be looking for a sugar daddy to fix everything. Nobody is going to untangle your knots. By the same token, don’t try to bail out anybody else. That merely sends the message you don’t trust their abilities to bail themselves out. Have a little faith. Be generous, but don’t give more than you can afford. Put your own needs first as you are your own first responsibility. Make the support you offer more emotional and energetic, as in seeing others in their strength and helping remind them of that strength. Big difference in perspective with that approach.

[bctt tweet=”The best way to help another is reminding them of their own power. #OnMyRadar” via=”no”]

Thursday, King of Wands: Good day to get stuff done. Always operate from your heart – never bad advice but extra releavant with Wands. You can expand the energy of a passion today, so aim your attention there today. And oh yeah, Mercury goes direct. Woot!

Friday, Chariot Rx: Don’t try to force it. Go with the flow, accept any pauses or slight shifts in direction as just part of the process, not indicative of failure. Okay? Detour or delays, as opposed to “no.”

Saturday, King of Cups rx: Emotions will be “a thing.” Stabilize your before you go slopping ’em around. Understand your reactions are more about how you are thinking and your emotional responses, not some picture of hard and fast reality. So if you feel like slapping somebody or guilt-tripping or whatever? Reign it in, man! Be true to yourself of course, but don’t assume how you’re feeling this second is how you will CONTINUE to feel.

Sunday, Four of Pentacles: Stabilizing energy. A good break. Don’t jump off into worry. Just enjoy the stability.

Overview/Advice: Star, Rx. Remain optimistic, but don’t tie that to a specific outcome or goal. Attach your optimism to the essence of what you want, not a specific outcome or goal. For example, if you want a job? Then focus optimism on the type of job or better, the sort of environment and work you want, not position X with employer Y by date Z. Give the Universe more to work with here in terms of opening a path for you. Look at how you want to feel, the point of where you want to go.

Affirmation – Angel Answers — YES! Yes, yes, yes. Stay positive, expect good, expect things to work out, expect success. That doesn’t mean there are never any blips, but ultimately…expect things to work out well. That helps them to work out well, but it’s also the kind of energy you want to keep with you. I’m in the right place at the right time, doing exactly what I need to be doing. All is well.

Keep shifting yourself to this orientation and practicing it. It will be become natural.

There is tendency to jump to conclusions this week that things are not going as they should. Take a step back from that. Take a chill pill. Take a nap. Distract yourself from what bothers you. Emotional? Be kind to yourself! Step back. Self-care is your friend and it’s a good week for it. Calm, centered self-care will get you through and help you retain your sense of well-being. Have some faith it IS working out because it is.

Are you keeping your faith during the transition(s)?
