Thank you all!

  • Thank you to everyone who attended Woo-Woo Wonderful Show on Spirital Protection with Josi and I yesterday. Your feedback was both heartwarming and insanely encouraging as we figure out what the heck we’re doing!
    The wax has GLITTER!
  • Thank you to my pal Josi for agreeing to DO the show with me, as well as for her kindness, mad organizational skills, list-making prowess and patience during the process.
  • Thank you to my friend Cedar Stevens of Natural Magick Shop, who gifted me a few of her new magic candles; these pretty Good Luck Candles have the glitter! I burned one during the show primere, dressed with  “The Fool” oil from Cedar’s shop. (And thanks to my lovely Tarot friend who got the oil for me!)
  • Thank you to all my clients, family and friends for your ongoing words of kindness and support. You make a difference, likely more than you will ever know.

You want to put any thanks out into the Universe?

07/17/13: Full Dose of Grateful / 9 Cups

My cup runneth over, as they say.

What have you been wishing for? Because the Nine of Cups says you’re getting it! And if you aren’t getting something new you want, has it occurred to you, maybe you already have your wish and just didn’t take the time to acknowledge it?

Gratitude. It’s always in fashion. And there’s no better way to amp up your vibrations than appreciating all you’ve got.

Do you have cause to be grateful?

Sharing Gratitude

From New Orleans, grotto of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, from patrons who’ve had prayers and miracles delivered.

I’ve been a little surprised, so far my favorite part of the Secret Garden. It wasn’t what I expected at all.

It’s been the Gratitude threads.

I mean, it’s an old idea. So old it’s almost pedestrian. Everybody and their crystal-toting mama tells you, “Keep a Gratitude Journal!”

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yada, yada, yada, right? “And say affirmations and Tarot journal and meditate and send out love vibes to everybody.” All that advice people give but 99% don’t practice.

Reading what the other “gardeners” found to be grateful for that day, it’s an instant pick-me-up. Sometimes it’s big or sometimes it’s very small. But it’s all representative of what has made a difference. And the appreciation carries over as you read the words. Gratitude is a very powerful vibration, you know?

And if I’m having a rough day, I pop in there and spend a few minutes listing out some of what I appreciate. It’s like an instant lift, it soothes the soul, you know?

Today, I’m grateful for the Secret Garden. I’m grateful for the community of this blog, for the people who read here and who send me kind comments and emails. I’m grateful for my Tarot people, who entrust me to keep their secrets and share their journeys. I’m grateful for my friends who love me, my family who supports me (even if they don’t claim to understand me), and my cats who nuzzle up on my lap when I’m trying to read. I’m grateful for the wisdom of the cards and grateful I have the opportunity to explore it together with you.

What are you grateful for today?

A Million Thanks!

I just wanted to say “THANK YOU!” to the lot of you–I’ve felt a lot of warm and support from my Tarot Peeps lately.

In the last week alone, people have helped share my books, visited on Facebook, written reviews, got consults, participated in the video readings, left tips, or just shared kind and encouraging words. All that and more! The energetic weather at large has been kicked up and a touch raw lately, so the extra dose of love has been a real boost.

Thank you. You are appreciated!

What are you grateful for right now?

Choosing Miracle, Now

Living Now

“The first requirement of positive intent is acknowledging gratitude, and the second thing is to abandon grievances of all kinds. Grievance comes from the ego. There’s a beautiful passage in A Course In Miracles which says, ‘Every decision I make is a choice between a grievance and a miracle.’ Try to remember that.” –Deepak Chopra

Every moment is a choice between Grievance and Miracle. I choose Miracle.

Try chanting that to yourself, as you prepare to meditate or when you’re frustrated or emotional or when you just have a quiet moment. See how it sinks in, how it comes back anytime you could use reminder. Every moment is a choice in how you frame it, between dissatisfaction and gratitude, disharmony and harmony. How would adopting this worldview change your experience?

Every moment is a choice, between grievance and miracle. I choose miracle.

Do you find this to be the case?

Everyday Tarot, 05/21/11: Art of Manifesting with Inverted Nine of Cups

daily-tarot-forecast-inverted-nine-cupsBe careful what you wish for. You may get it. –English Proverb

After all, the grass is not always greener. It just looks that way from the other side of the fence. So why haven’t you manifested yourself a prettier lawn, grasshopper?!?

Today’s Tarot Forecast is the inverted Nine of Cups, or “Lord of Material Happiness,” associated with Jupiter in Pisces. Sometimes known as “The Wish Card,” it’s all about big (Jupiter) dreams (Pisces) coming to life! In the suit of cups (Emotion), we’re definitely talking wishes near and dear to your heart. Inverted, I’d say it’s not quite there yet, or something’s in the way. Uh oh!
