Shine Your Light: Weekly Flow Tarot, June 13 – 19, 2016

I’ll never forget when I came out of the Woo closet.

It was simultaneously among the most terrifiying and exhilerating things I’d ever done. Saturn was in Virgo in my first house, and I felt compelled to self-define honestly. It seemed important, if dangerous. (I still made most of my living pushing pixels and fixing websites at the time.)

While I ran across a few eye rolls–some literal, some metaphorical–overall? It was kind of a big, fat nothing. Heck, some folks even shared with me their own woo orientations. I never would have guessed.

Because you don’t know. How could you? People hide. I hid. I get it.

Beyond that, though, most people are far too busy worrying about what you think of them to think all that much of you. And those who aren’t, who get all twisted up and scandalized becauase you’re not them?

Not really worth offering free rent  in your head.

Being TRUE to yourself, allowing your inner light to shine, is a huge service. It helps encourage others to do the same. So shine your true light, my friend. We NEED you!

We have a large amount of reversals in the spread. Six of the eight cards I pulled were reversed! If this had been a client reading, I probably would have acknowledged it’s a very difficult, slow-moving time, like trudging through molasses, and turned them upright to simplify interpretation. But it’s not a client reading and they spoke to me just fine, how they showed up.

The overall sense I’ve got this week is one of feeling out of step with those around you. Not a miserable, overwhelming kind of thing. More like, “If people really knew me, knew who I really am, I’d be utterly rejected. Must maintain cover.” And it’s the attempts to maintain your cover–appear as a complaint, respectable member of the community when you feel anything but–that’s got the potential to trip you up.

So don’t do it. Your best guidance system this week (and any other) is your internal one. Nothing else matters.

[bctt tweet=”Stand up and BE, even if you’re standing alone.” username=”goddess_dix”]

Monday, Darkest Fears/Sacral Chakra – Eight of Swords Reversed: A buried worry, that you’ll be forever miserable and it will be your own damn fault. You can get past this two ways: 1.) Look for ways to laugh at what’s going wrong. Make a game of it. And 2.) Seek out thoughts, activities and company that you KNOW brings you joy. It’s easy to shift out of this “trapped” mindset. All it mostly takes is the decision. In other words, most of the bad mood mojo today is not entrenched and not permanent. Consciously shifting your perspective will lift you right back up.

Tuesday, Feeling Alone – Ten of Pentacles: It’s easy enough to feel alone in a crowd, depending on the crowd. Look for your people to reconnect if you’re feeling cut off. And if that’s not cutting it for you? Enjoy your own company. The feelings of isolation will pass.

Wednesday, Blossom – The World Reversed: Your job today has nothing to do with what’s expected of you, and everything to do with who you are on the inside. Favor that.

Thursday, Success & Growth – Ace of Wands: Follow your heart and what you love for the win!

Friday, Spread Your Wings – Nine of Cups Reversed: Expand your definition of “wonderful,” and your life will expand to fit it.

Saturday, Lead – Two of Swords Reversed: Quit waffling and just make a decision already. The world will follow suit afterward. It’s usually not so much making the “right” decision or “wrong” decision as it is about doing SOMETHING. You adjust as you go.

Sunday, Release – Two of Wands Reversed: Release old stand-offs taking up space in your head. Not worth your time. Don’t wait for anyone else to bury the hatchet. Because don’t you have better things to do than even bothering?

Overview/Advice, Heal – Five of Cups Reversed: Mourning does soften over time. Allow it. Feeling it come and go like the waves on a shore? This is a natural part of the healing process.

IMG_5164Affirmation – Relationship Harmony from Archangel Raguel: “We angels are opening the hearts of everyone involved. Arguments and conflicts are being resolved now.” No matter what the discord, you are best served by keeping a soft heart, as much as you can. Not freezing it up. Not forgetting boundaries or dropping your own needs at the curb. But looking at life, at relationships, at everything, with a softer, more compassionate heart.

That’s not excusing or approving. It’s just not letting life–or anyone in your life–decide for YOU. If someone doesn’t fit into your circle, they’ll evacuate it soon enough. The most important thing is to remember who YOU are and no matter what’s happening about you, stay solid on that note.

You feeling a little misfit lately?

Illusion, Decimated. Tarot Forecast, April 11 – 17

“I feel like a sucker. All those times, I knew something was off. I just let it pass. Because really, what are you gonna do about it anyway? It’s not like you can call it out and expect to magically find honesty and kindness where it wasn’t before.”

What happens when you think you know [a person | the facts | a situation | whatever], but find out, you don’t? You didn’t? Not by a long shot?

Maybe there’s anger at the source for a minute but usually, the frustration gets turned inward.

There is ZERO point in feeling stupid for being trusting and supportive. None whatsoever. Because the alternative to being trusting and supportive is being suspicious and guarded. Putting up walls has a cost unto itself, and it’s a cost I don’t want to pay.

On your path, the question is always about doing the best you can, in the moment. You literally cannot do better than “your best.”

I’m thinking when this hits, we must process and release. Process and release. Integrate the information into one’s worldview and then? Stop the freakin’ obsessing. Because in the obsessing, it becomes a thing. Obsessing turns a hurt into an entity in your life. And that’s not an entity I’m willing to invite in.

20160408_150704_HDR

20160408_150704_HDR

This week’s forecast is kind of like that. There’s a sense of the veil dropping with a big, fat thud. Clarity is coming in hard and fast and you know what? We ain’t gonna like it all.

But it’s better to have the truth than to like all that you see, you know?

The truths on tap this week will center largely around relationships and self–how your needs and wishes impact what you see in others. Sometimes you’ll have gussied it up, other times, dressed it down. But in each case, a perspective has been the deciding factor in conclusions, and that perspective is changing. The changes may be quite fast and hard. So put on your seatbelts, folks!

Monday, Truth – Nine of Cups: The truth sets you free? At least, it makes us a whole lot more content. Be honest and surround yourself with only others who are the same.

Tuesday, Positive Movement Forward – Ten of Cups Rx: Sure, maybe it’s not everything you wanted, everybody loving everybody else just so, exactly the way you wanted it. But it’s getting better, right? Build on that!

Wednesday, Shadow – The World Rx: A tendency to gloss over places where we’ve not behaved responsibly. It’s the reflection we’d prefer not to see. I’m telling ya, you’re better off being aware. This shadow dancing can cost a person–especially in terms of respect and relationships.

Thursday, Balance – Ten of Pentacles RxHow invested are you in seeing what you want to see in loved ones? Maybe that perfect, happy picture isn’t true to life. Especially when it comes to family, acknowledge both the dark as well as the light and recognize the existence of what you don’t like, as well as what you do. If you’re feeling out of kilter in any close relationship, look at the possibility.

Friday, Hope – The Star Rx: Optimism is a bit elusive. It comes and goes. But being the conscious sort, you realize how heavily your thought process plays into the substance and sustenance of hope. You can work with that, right?

Saturday, Prosperity – Eight of Wands Rx: Edgy feeling, like money or moreso, that feeling of “enough” is somewhat uncertain or elusive. What you need is already coming through though,  albeit not necessarily how you expected it to arrive.

Sunday, Heartache & Loss –The Lovers Rx: Sometimes, we feel stupid for not seeing the truth as it is. But that doesn’t mean a person is dumb. It means they see the world through their own lenses, and may have trouble thinking the way someone with different values, perspective and needs does. It matters little who is wrong, when you suffer a loss though. It still hurts. I see this as permission to move away from what doesn’t resonate with our own vibe and what we want in our lives. A prod, even. Because it’s hard and it hurts and it’s sad. But releasing what doesn’t fit anymore is SO important, even when it sucks at the time.

Overview/Advice, Disruption – Seven of Pentacles: Disruption you’re seeing this week? Necessary. It serves a longer-term purpose. What is shaken up now, needs to be shaken up. So mourn what you need to mourn and release.

Affirmation: Make a metaphor. Metaphors really open up possible perspectives and it can be a fun mental activity, too. Maybe not always super flattering, though. When I was in high school debate, one judge said my rapid-fire delivery made me a combine, trying to gobble up wheat before a storm. (Hello, Midwest USA!) I think I’ll go around this week saying things like, “I am the Queen of Swords, slicing through the bullshit!” Or maybe I’ll be the Magician, waving away those tricks. Or I’ll be a rock, solid and unmovable. Or I’ll be the wind…excuse me. I have some metaphoring to do.

Are you finding some illusions shattered recently?

This forecast features the lovely Pagan Cat Tarot, with the Psychic Tarot Oracle to represent positions and the Creative Whack Pack for the affirmation. If you enjoy these forecasts, you’d probably like Dixie’s Book, Everyday Tarot Archives or better yet, a personal consultation.

Ripening: Tarot Flow Forecast, Mar 28 – Apr 3

“It’s one of the side effects of being a Tarot reader. I see people freaking the *$&# out over what’s happening or what’s not happening right this minute, right now, like the world’s ending if things don’t go the way they want. And I talk to them later and we realize, whatever it was, it just didn’t matter. Or it didn’t matter the way they thought it did. It ended up being better, or it ended up giving them something they needed. It gives you a different perspective.”

I was talking to my friend. Not being judgey. It’s really helpful to me, if you want to know the truth. It’s a lot easier to stay zen, when you see this dynamic over and over.

I try to force something to happen, no way, no how. NOT GONNA WORK!! I try to avoid it? It ends up in my lap. Maybe even years later. But when it does, enough has happened between the start and the end, I know there is more at work.

It happens when it’s supposed to. That fact: endlessly infuriating and endlessly comforting, all at the same time.

Tarot Forecast Mar 28 Apr 3 2016

Jupiter and Saturn are retrograde presently, prompting us to revisit projects we’ve started but not finished. What’s ripe, or becoming ripe? What’s over-ripe, ready to be thrown out? Do this bit first, toss and purge, to make space for the new fruit to fully ripen.

I expect this week to contain both conflict and emotionality, ups and downs, since we’re leaning pretty heavily on the Swords and Cups in this weekly spread. But there are definitely lessons and clarifications on tap, courtesy what comes up through the swordplay. Think of irksome frustrations, crabby words or other bothersome incidents as instructive, especially as metaphorical for other issues in your life.

Monday, Passion Ignited – Page of Swords Rx: To get your creative fires burning, stop talking yourself out of it! Stop putting so damned many conditions on ideas. It kills the moment. It sucks the life out of the art. Drop the self-criticism and the “Debbie Downer” scripts aimed in the mirror. That dousing of your creative fires? It’s your own doing, Grasshopper. Which is wonderful news, because that also means, it’s in your hands, oh creative one.

Tuesday, Rejoice in Celebration – Three of Cups: Sweet. This one is a double-dose of advice to celebrate all that is good with your tribe. YOUR folks, your people, whomever they may be. The Three of Cups shows up on “Rejoice in Celebration”–the Psychic Tarot Oracle’s version of the Three of Cups! (What’s Neptune doing today?)

Wednesday, New Beginnings – Ace of Cups: Let fresh starts touch your heart. And let your heart, guide you in those fresh starts. No fear. Only love. Only love.

Thursday, Waiting Game – Five of Swords: I always think of Tarot Fives as growing pains, of one sort or another. Fives are ridden with conflict, but in truth, conflict is a gift. It allows for corrections, before problems become too big to be manageable. But then again, I pretty much count everything–including drawing breath–as a gift. So consider your source. Har!

[bctt tweet=”Conflict gives the gift of drawing attention to what needs to be adjusted.”]

Friday, Emotional Loss, Knight of Swords Rx: This combination screams, “Blessing in disguise” to me. Maybe VERY well disguised, I’ll give you that. And maybe upsetting and scary, too. But definitely, losses right now can be more about perception than net reality.  As in, “Remember that thing I was so upset about? Yeah. I’m really glad it happened.”

Saturday, Base Chakra, King of Wands Rx: You know how in those little airline safety presentations, they tell you to put on your own oxygen mask first, before trying to help anybody else? That. Take care of your own basic needs, security and well being first, before looking to do the same for anyone else. It’s not a mark of selfishness. It’s a mark of smarts.

Sunday, Throat Chakra, Nine of Cups: Speak your truth today. Say what you really want to say. It brings contentment. I would expect especially nice results from expressing gratitude and thankfulness, too. Beautiful day for a heartfelt, loving conversation. So speak up!

Overview/Advice, Harmony – The Chariot Reversed: Don’t push or drive others this week. You go on your path. Others may follow or they may not. But they’ll do what they need to do. YOU do what you need to do.

Affirmation: Check Your Timing. As Shakespeare said, “Ripeness is all.” We get so wound up about what is to happen when. If it’s yuck, we want it done NOW. If it’s good, we want it here, NOW. If it’s scary, we want it either far away from us, or past us. So much of life is timing. Being in the right place, doing the right stuff.

And you know, we stress over timing. But if you get quiet and listen, you can stay in the flow. You can follow those little nudges and your timing will always be right.

I am telling myself, I’m in the perfect place for ME right now, because it perfectly represents where I am, how I’ve grown and how I need to grow. What you want but don’t have may not be a “no.” It may be a “not yet.”

This forecast features the Pagan Cat Tarot, with the Psychic Tarot Oracle to represent positions and the Creative Whack Pack for the affirmation. If you enjoy these forecasts, you’d probably like Dixie’s Book, Everyday Tarot Archives or better yet, a personal consultation.

Do you feel “ripening” in your life?

Accepting the Good: Weekly Tarot, Jan 25 – 31, 2016

A perk of my job as Tarot-slinger is having a heads-up notice on shifts, in the energy trends. I get a pretty good feel for the flavor of incoming vibes.

And right now? It’s shifting. People’s lives are in significant transition. Like the ground is moving around, underneath, but we’re all trying to keep moving forward, lest we fall into a hole!

When I think back, to all the accomplishments I’m most proud of…without exception, every single one of them sucked on the way there. When I lost 100 pounds, when I went back to school, when I got married and became insta-mom, when I presented at industry conferences, when I started my own business(es)…those times and so much more, always the same feelings.

Every single time, I was uncertain and scared and stressed and overwhelmed with the reach required. Every single time, I wondered if I could manage it.

And every single time, I thought to myself, “If I had known before I started…I’m not sure I would have!”

This looks like the week people may be saying that, to themselves.

20160116_180509_HDR

Shifts are very much apparent. Now that makes sense, as Mercury is going direct, and completely leaving his shadow at the start of February. Full speed ahead! We hit a big ol’ Full Moon in Leo the weekend before this forecast starts, which tends towards the dramatic. It doesn’t feel settled yet by a shot, but we are getting the car turned around and back on course. And that’s blessing enough, I think!

One more week for the Housewives Tarot and then I’ll put the ladies up for a while. I know not everybody enjoys this deck is much as I do.

Monday, Page of Cups: Speak from the heart, be very aware of your emotions, and do your best to take care of emotional issues. I do see this as a feely sort of day, although the feelings aren’t necessarily negative. But I think there’s gonna be a fair amount of them, of whatever flavor they are.  So make allowances.

Tuesday, Three of Wands reversed: I’m seeing somebody come in and mess up the room that you just picked up. Like plopping a dirty dish in the sink right after you’ve finished the dishes. Throwing clothes on the floor right away after you put away laundry. Don’t get over-emotional about it. I don’t think it’s intentional. But yeah, I know that’s annoying. Sorry!

Wednesday, Nine of Swords reversed: You worry too much. Potential anxiety or overreaction, feeling kind of alone. If you talk to somebody, particularly somebody who you trust, like an father figure, it won’t necessarily solve everything, but it might help ground you. Just know, anxiety that comes up today is probably not intuition so much as emotional flow, feeling overwhelmed.

Thursday, King of Wands: You can get a lot of stuff done! This is an energetic powerhouse kind of day. A full schedule, plenty of work to do, lots of meetings or appointments, errands, doesn’t matter. Highly productive day. Enjoy it!

Friday, the High Priestess: Here she’s coming in upright. A good day to sit back and watch what happens. Keep your mouth shut. Don’t make any major moves. Listen to your gut, no matter what it says. And simply let life unfold.

Saturday, Six of Cups: Another repeat! If I didn’t know better, I would think I did not shuffle. But I do know better. A great day to participate in an activity you used to enjoy as a child. Being with old friends, playing games, anything that’s reminiscent of your younger years, is especially sweet. I hope you enjoy it.

Sunday, Nine of Cups reversed: Even reversed,  a very sweet card. I see this as not being a perfect day, but a damned good one. Maybe the good news doesn’t come in, but you see an encouraging sign. Like that. It’s an encouraging kind of day. And I’ll take it wherever I can get it.

Overview/advice: Eight of Wands: There is still movement! Things are shifting quickly and it may feel like it’s been up in the air for-ev-er. But the dust has not yet settled, and we’ll  have to wait to let it settle as we go forward. Just know, it’s underway.

Affirmation: In my appreciation, I offer no resistance. This makes me think about people who have trouble accepting compliments. Maybe that’s you. If somebody says, “I love your outfit,” do you argue? Do you tell them that it’s old, it doesn’t look good on you, blah, blah, blah? Well, stop it! Practice just saying, “thank you.” It’s kinder to the complimenter–accepting that verbal gift–as well as kind yourself.

If you have something going right in your life, don’t say, “That’s nice but…it won’t last/it’s not enough/it could be better/this other thing is still messed up/I’ll never make it/etc.” Stop that!

Instead, appreciate it and then put a period at the end of that sentence. Period. Okay? Period. We all have bad that has to be dealt with in life. It’s enough already. But how many of us readily accept the good?  Don’t resist the good.

[bctt tweet=”Accept life’s good without disclaimers. #quotes”]

There are enough worries and pain and difficulty to go around, without  looking for it, let alone trying to morph gifts into crap. Just accept the damn presents already.

How gracefully do you accept the good?

Singular Experience: Weekly Tarot Forecast, Jan 18 – 23

In the Tarot class I just led–my first one–I was surprised. Because one of the biggest challenges I had was adequately communicating what it’s like you truly begin to commune with the cards, develop a relationship with them over time. You can teach technique and structure. You can talk about experiences. But you cannot teach what happens, once you walk through that door.

There’s a certain point, past which your life is not going to be the same.

The experiences are singular. You can describe them. You can share the events and the details. But the feelings that go along with it all  and in particular, the knowings that breathe life into the experience, defy sufficient description.

There’s the whole “getting info” thing that people do. It’s why most pick up the cards at first, myself included. What mysteries might I tap? What foresight might I gather?

But in time, that becomes the least compelling part of an ongoing relationship with the cards.

You stick with the cards, they begin to guide you down a path. YOUR path. And it’s foggy and sometimes messy and often confusing. But as long as you stay open to the experience, humble enough to realize you pretty much don’t know squat about how the universe works outside the basics, things begin to click.

And eventually you realize, everything is different. I don’t know how well I managed to capture the magic, but I tried.

IMG_4858 - Copy

This week? The cards definitely describe a singular experience. Perhaps it will grant a flavor of what I wanted to convey in the class. Themes of self-evaluation and self-reliance dominate.

The appearance of several major Arcana says to expect intensity, likely with emotional punch. Look for patterns to come up this week, representative of bigger issues. Overall, there is potential for a whole lot of drama here, both good and not-so-much good. You may be able to avoid some of the not-so-good by staying centered, focused on your own story.

[bctt tweet=”Stay focused on your own story.”]

Monday, the Moon: There’s a dreamy, other-worldly kind of feel to today. Could be pleasant. Could be deceptive. Either way, you can’t really trust it. But you can probably enjoy it.

Tuesday, Nine of Cups: Well, this looks like a great day! Wish fulfillment, perhaps? Gifts? A wonderful compliment? Recognition? Something nice for you today. Merry belated Christmas!

Wednesday, Seven of Wands reversed: If you find yourself saying, “It’s the principle of the thing…” Well, maybe not. Look for what’s underneath urges to “stand up to the man,” to see if there’s a more personal pain driving it. Righteous indignation? Probably not a recommended stance. Make sure you’re on focus and on task. Let the rest the world do their thing(s); just make sure you’re doing yours.

Thursday, Six of Cups reversed: Acknowledge kind gestures, but make sure your backup plan is Y-O-U, you. Support coming from other venues? That’s awesome! Appreciate it in full, but don’t budget it in. Self-reliance is the safest. Especially in the final stages of endeavors, be certain you’ve reserved enough steam to carry it home all by your lonesome if necessary.

Friday, High Priestess reversed: People may accidentally divulge secrets today. Look for sideways admissions and out-and-out blurting. I would not try to be coy under this energy at all, because there’s real possibility you’re telling more than you realize. On the other hand, it’s a great day to get inside information–it will sail right out of the flapping lips.

Saturday, Judgment reversed & Sunday, Knight of Pentacles: Here’s another recent repeat, both cards. I’m inclined to read these together as “keep your eyes on your own paper.” Mow your own lawn, don’t complain about the neighbors’ grass. Take care of your own business, and let everything else (and everyone else) sort themselves out. Mind your own beeswax!

MoonOverview/Advice, Wheel of Fortune reversed: Even reversed, the Wheel is a pretty sweet card. Any irritation that strikes, look to let it roll off your back. Consider frustrations as temporary setbacks, minor bits of bad luck, not representative of your life or the future as a whole. “Temporary setbacks.” That’s the phrase to deal with any distraction or frustration this week. It’s a temporary setback. Nothing more.

Happy Full Moon in Leo (23rd). Lots of complexity to this one, but in summation, only this: Expect a show. Make sure you know your lines.

Affirmation: My emotional setpoints can be changed. If you want to be happier, keep reaching for happier. If you want to feel stronger or braver, keep reaching for stronger or braver. Don’t worry about how far off you are from the totality of what you want. Just keep giving yourself opportunities, to be feeling the way you want to feel. Keep reminding yourself of times when you have already achieved this, and keep praising and congratulating yourself for all the progress you’ve made. Do not think in terms of the need or deficiency. Focus on what you’re achieving, and turn up the achievement. That approach gain you the most ground.

In short, it’s largely a week for singular experiences, feeling alone in a crowd. That’s not good or bad. Just the flavor of the week. But the quiet time allows you to review your own alignment and make corrections as required.

You ever feel alone in a crowd?

This week features the lovely and fun Housewives’ Tarot. If you dig these forecasts, you’d probably dig my book, Everyday Tarot Archives. If you super-duper dig these forecasts, you’d no doubt love a personal consultation. Give me a holler!

Releasing Regret: Weekly Tarot Forecast, July 27 – August 2

Regret is on my radar this week. After tragedy hits, it’s so easy to find a million and one ways it might have been avoided–at least, that’s how it goes down in the imagination. Things you did or didn’t say and do play out over and over from every angle, like a broken record in your brain that just won’t stop.

We generally do the best we can. But what does one do when their “best,” in retrospect, doesn’t feel like “enough?” That’s the sort of regret that’s on my mind right now and  I find some comfort in this week’s affirmation.

[bctt tweet=”#Peace comes from remembering that only #love is real. #affirmation #quotes”]

Anything that doesn’t feel like love? You can release it. It’s okay.

forecast 0727thr802

This week doesn’t look especially easy to me. Emotional fluctuation is evident. The good news is, there are up’s as well as down’s. Maybe this will hit your personally or maybe it won’t, but either way, it’s good to stay aware of the bigger picture for some. The keys to making the best of it–personal or not, by the way–are held in the advice and affirmation cards.

Monday, Conflict and Defeat – Five of Swords: There is a heaviness, a tiredness for some folks today. An air of resignation about this. Retreating for some rest and recuperation is the best strategy if you can manage it. And if are not one hit by the heaviness, be kind to others because you never know what weight they carry in their own heart.

Tuesday, Emotional Loss – Five of Cups: Palpable loss and pain. Seek comfort and solace in the affection of loved ones. “Normal” as you knew it may not be possible, but a new normal can become possible

Wednesday, Victory & Success – Six of Wands: Some hope, recognition or acknowledgement. A welcome respite for anyone struggling.

Thursday, Fulfillment of Wishes – Nine of Cups: Speaks for itself, really. A wish comes true. May it give you hope and strength, if you’re in short supply.

Friday, Sacrifice – Hanged Man: Let go. Release. Do nothing. Allow all feelings, whatever they are, to wash over you, through you, and drift away beyond you. Do what you need to do, for the greater good.

Saturday, Material and Spiritual Prosperity – Six of Pentacles reversed: This weekend holds some rewards, but some discontent as well. There’s a tendency to not trust what is going well. Look for trusted advisors to use as sounding boards if it helps.

Sunday, Material Harvest – Nine of Pentacles reversed: Evaluate budgets and spending. This doesn’t mean you’ll run short so much as you want to be sure you’re getting the best value from all your investments–financial and energetically. Specifically seek out reasons to be grateful.

Advice/Overview: Disruption – The Tower reversed: Minimize disruption. During emotionally challenging times, turn to routine, familiarity, and checking items off your list to carry you. If your default “normal” is not available, start to construct a new normal. There is comfort in the everyday activities. Simple chores, small rituals of living, a regular sleep schedule and nutritious food are some of your tools in minimizing disruption. Honor your feelings, but don’t completely set aside the business of life. That “business of life” bit can get you through a lot.

Affirmation – Archangel Chamuel: “Peace comes from remembering that only love is real.” So often, upsetting words are misunderstood, even by the person speaking them. What you’re saying to others is most often a reflection of how you’re feeling about yourself. We see everything–EVERYTHING–though the filter of our perception and emotional state at the time. And that filter can be very hazed or distorted. That filter doesn’t necessarily reflect reality.

Love is not physical proximity. Love does not reside in some magic words to set things aright or secure a particular outcome. Love doesn’t require acquiescing to another’s desires, or really any action at all. Love is an intention, a state of being that can be held in the heart for one and all–family, friends and strangers. Love can transcend time and space and physicality. In that way, love is the only thing that is real.

How are you doing out there?

Love,
Dix
