Seven of Wands: Fighting for the Right, Personally

There’s a lot of talk right now about right and wrong.  So much disagreement, with so much passion!  Like everybody else, I have my own ideas of what’s what. But not-like-everybody-else, my ideas in that regard are mostly kept to myself. I seldom share the specifics.

That doesn’t mean I don’t further what I truly believe is right, though. The upcoming Taort forecast answers exactly how to do that.

Next Week in Tarot

Seven of Wands: Fighting for the Right, Personally 1

For the weekly outlook, we have the Seven of Wands, with advice coming from The Empress from the lovely Star Tarot Deck.

Now, I always think of the Seven of Wands as representing a stand-your-ground sort of vibe. Entrenched in your own vision of what’s right, you fight off any who would seek to topple your own moral authority.

But a lot of people misunderstand this card. The Seven of Wands is a very personal type of fight. We’re not talking about controlling what the rest of the world does here. We’re talking about maintaining your dominion over your personal values and morality.

The deck author describes this card as representing a conflict between inner values and outer reality, and that’s a wonderfully apt characterization. There is a sense of isolation or mismatch with this card. What you see around you, what’s expected of you and what you feel is right may not match up this week.

You may have to put your foot down. But understand this is not a call for global activism. It’s a call to live true to your own values despite whatever forces are rumbling to the contrary. Forcing others to go along with your morals is not only ill-advised but impossible. But living according to your own morals? That’s do-able.

So with that in mind, I absolutely love the Empress showing up for advice.  She’s not telling us to fight for what we believe is right. She tells us to live it instead! That’s a whole lot more effective. Instead of fighting for what you don’t want, give birth to what you do.

If I want to live in a world that’s loving and respectful, guess what? Yelling at those who I don’t consider to be loving and respectful doesn’t really further the cause, you know? It just turns me into what I’m railing against. On the other hand, by practicing and embodying the qualities of love and respect even in situations where it may be challenging, I am actually giving birth to a tiny piece of the world I want to live in. I’m being it.

Don't preach it. BE it. Click To Tweet

There is a huge amount of dissatisfaction coming from many, many different quarters. Instead of getting upset over what doesn’t resonate for you, channel it into inspiration for what you’d rather give birth to instead.

Create what you want, first in your own life where it grows to influence others as well. You’re no less a warrior approaching change from the inside out. Even better, you’ll feel the difference immediately.

Are you feeling this?

If you’d like to discuss how to make changes in your own life, give me a holler for a one-on-one.

Bucking the System? Tarot Forecast, 3/27 – 4/2/17

I was getting a quick, fun reading at a fair one day–some sort of oracle stones. The reader asked me if I was a risk taker. I’m hesitating, thinking very earnestly on the question.

“I don’t know. I don’t feel like I’m that much of risk-taker.”

“How many different colors do you have in your hair?” she asked.

We laughed, and I got her point. What is no big deal to me–hair grows out, yo–may FEEL risky to others. In this case, the “risk” was mostly disapproval from people who don’t like grown women dying their hair weird colors. But it’s a legitimate “thing.” And I know it’s perceived as risky because I cannot count the number of people who have told me they’d love to do the same if they could find the courage.

Weird hair color and blue, glittery nails on someone much too old for such silliness by conventional standards is a tiny, even trivial example “bucking the system.” But it IS bucking the system. It’s about what I value on a personal level–color and glitz that makes me happy–versus what is considered conventional or socially acceptable.

This coming week is kind of like that.

Welcome to my Tarot forecast where I do things differently every week. Ha!

The Week Ahead

The Ten of Cups and Lovers combined speak to surrounding yourself with people that harmonize with you. Not yes-men and yes-woman. Yawn! But people whom you respect and respect you. There is space for synergy by teaming up with those you feel comfortable with emotionally. Harmony will be amplified, especially early on this week. It’s a way to ground yourself in stability before dealing with anything else.

Matter of fact, being grounded may come in handy mid to late week. The Seven of Wands teamed with the Tower and suggests calling out a naked emperor! Individuals may speak up to power or established systems. There is a feeling of fighting City Hall here, where the little guy stands up to the powers that be. This seems more personal to me, not necessarily a mass protest, but individuals speaking up in smaller ways.

In other words, don’t buck the system for the sake of bucking the system. Stay firmly grounded in what’s important to YOU in your own life. This is not worrying about others nearly so much as it feels like taking care of your own business.

But the other side of this process? Justice shows up to promise fairness–not to be confused with equality. In other words, the outcomes won’t be the same for everyone, but they will be applied equally and that’s motion forward.

Obviously, this is a forecast for the collective so that energy will play out differently for different people and for some, it will be less personal than for others. But don’t be surprised to see examples of it around you as you make your way through the week.

Tarot Advice

For advice, the Four of Cups teamed with the Seven of Cups suggests daydreaming about outcomes, playing what-if. There’s nothing wrong with that game. It can be incredibly beneficial, a lot of the time, if it’s used to understand and mold your ideas and help you remain optimistic. But understand the what-if’s you’re coming up with is incomplete, as they represent a transitory phase of the situation. Outcomes will have elements of your what-if’s but it won’t be a perfect match because the information is not yet fleshed out. Your dreams are baking this week, so it’s all still in the oven. Let it bake, you know? Let it bake.

We wind up with Death–there has to be a dying off and cleansing before your dreams can move forward. There is a energetic cleaning (which can include physical cleaning, especially symbolic physical cleaning). The new we’re moving towards, of course, is the final card here, the Six of Wands. Wow, that is a resurrection, huh?

My sense overall is that this is a good thing, a helpful breakthrough of sorts. So treat it as such. If you get yourself firmly grounded and feel the support and love of likeminded individuals, clearing out what is just not right isn’t so hard and in the end, it helps you keep moving.

Hope that’s helpful to you  and that you have a great week! Take care of yourselves and be well.

You ever find yourself fighting the big guys?

Icing on the Cake: Tarot Forecast, Jan 30 – Feb 4, 2017

I blame astrology–but one recurring theme of my life has been people that I care about exiting–sometimes quite dramatically.

I know, I know, we all deal with this to one degree or another. But it’s been notable for me, at least to me. It’s been a function of my life for many, many years. Important relationships, poof! Friends, sure, but also close family. I have not always taken this well mind you, but maturity has helped me make a lot of progress on that front.

This feature of being me has given the opportunity to find lots and lots of different perspectives on the phenomena. And being who I am, I always look for the perspective that feels best to me.

Our connections, meaningful as they are to us, giving so much fun and love and healing and growth, are all interludes in our lives. We each live inside our own hearts and heads with our own, unique perspectives and no amount of explanation or persuasion can fully admit another. And that’s beyond okay; it’s how this works. That’s how we’re built. It’s a gift, really, when we can share bits and pieces of it with another, but wholly unnecessary for a happy life.

Think of it like icing on the cake. It’s great to have icing but with or without, the cake still tastes good.

This week coming up? It’s a lot like that. The only thing that really matters is sticking true to who you are. This is your cake. Let the universe ice it.

Icing on the Cake: Tarot Forecast, Jan 30 - Feb 4, 2017 2

This week’s forecast audio…

The week as a whole may require you to step back a bit to get your orientation, so take your time and let the week’s events roll over you. There is a very clear flow to this forecast, gradual and progressive. I’m seeing/feeling plenty of hysteria out in the wild–so you’ll have to make the choice to opt out if you’d prefer not to ride on that train. Disciplined focus and a determination to feel good are your tickets to a better experience.

Especially notable in this week’s draw is the number of Sevens–the sixteen of the Tower reduces to seven, and we’ve got the Sevens of Wands, Pentacles, and Cups, along with the Chariot, Seven in the Major Arcana! Tarot Sevens offer a clarifying force: focus, drive, and turn points are often called into play. There’s also a sense in Tarot sevens of being separate, standing alone to make one’s decisions while the rest of the world does whatever it does. So if you keep that in mind, you’ll have more success.

Let’s hop on in to the day-by-day and see what we’ve got going.

Monday, Rebuild (Tower) – This angel has lots of heart energy going on…a very soft interpretation of the Tower. Take wherever you are, make peace and start focusing on what you want. Read: focusing NOT on what’s wrong, what might be wrong, how long it will be wrong, how to force the wrong out of your experience. Focus on what you want, and ways you can add that energy in your life. Focus is not the devastation, but the rebuilding. This works from applying it to yourself, all the way out: to your family, neighborhood, country, or world. I recommend focusing on what you want to build!

Tuesday, Strengthening Bonds (Ace of Pentacles) – Look for common ground. You disagree on 25 things with your neighbor but agree on two? Focus on and explore the two you agree upon! That’s the basis for moving forward. That is the only space in which progress is possible.

Wednesday, Base Chakra + Love (The Lovers) – Security and stability comes from the heart, not external circumstances. If you want to offer that to others, or find it for yourself, come at it form a heart space. Look for and express love and kindness. Focus on the energy of love and kindness to activate the vibration of love and kindness. If you are feeling a bit alone, to activate more love, focus your attention on things that help bring out that energy for you. A pet you love, food or a movie, whatever, doesn’t matter what it is. Just feel the appreciation, as appreciation is the same family of vibration as love, so it will activate love. Love is always good medicine.

Thursday, Choose your Battles (Seven of Wands) – Self-explanatory, don’t you think? Trying to get others to be you is always a losing proposition, so I never recommend it. ‘Nuff said.

Friday, Awaiting Results (Seven of Pentacles) – Don’t push to know all the details, how it’s all going to be, now, now, now, now, now. Set out your intentions and be clear, and let the world morph around your clarity and focus of feelings. The results of the vibration you’re offering will settle themselves.

Saturday, Daydreams and Decisions (Seven of Cups) – Lots of visions dancing in your head. Mentally a very active time. You get to decide what you focus on. Let your mind wander, sure, but steer it towards the “wouldn’t it be great if…” end of the scale. Make any necessary decisions, WHILE you’re in a good feeling place.

Make decisions steeped in the feeling you want for the outcome. #OnMyRadar Click To Tweet

Sunday, Move (Chariot) – We’ve had some clarification this week. Monday, we decided what we want. Tuesday, we searched for common ground. Wednesday, we helped ourselves and others feel a bit more secure, coming from a heart-centered place. Thursday, we acknowledged not everything is worth fighting about, Friday, we sat back to let the flow come. Saturday, we get into a good-feeling place with our imagination and make decision from that good-feeling place. Sunday, you may have the option to take some action on it–inspired action, that comes from being connected, plugged in and being in a good place.

Icing on the Cake: Tarot Forecast, Jan 30 - Feb 4, 2017 3Overview/Advice, Darkest Fears (Nine of Swords) – Some of what you feel is “wrong” is worry, imagination used against yourself. Understand the yucky feelings you may have may not be premonition signaling an eventuality, but more born of personal fears. Look for where you can come together with the portion of your experience, however humble it may be, that you find is representative of what you want to see. I don’t mean come together to complain! Look for areas of commonality, harmony and agreement. This will help soothe and even out your energy, giving you more clarity. It’s a step towards living a happy life, which is kind of why we’re here.

Hope that’s helpful and hope you have an awesome week.

Who Cares about the Brussel sprouts? Tarot Forecast, Dec. 5 – 11

When my kids were little, they did the same thing all kids do: they looked at ugly veggies like brussel sprouts and declared them disgusting.

I had already firmly established I wasn’t going to make multiple, separate meals for dinner. Frankly, they were lucky I came up with one! But it still was an issue for me getting some veggies down their little gullets, taking my parental responsibilities for their well-being quite seriously as young mothers often do.

“Okay, that’s fine if you don’t like something. As an adult, I don’t force myself to eat things I don’t like. But I expect you to try it before declaring it disgusting.”

See, the “I fixed it just how you like it, with salt and pepper and butter!” had stopped working. So I made a rule, there must be a full bite taken, chewed and swallowed before determining whether or not something was “disgusting” and before being excused from the table

You see where this is going?

Worst rule I ever conjured. It gave me a lot more grief with the boy child than just letting him turn his nose up the the green spheres and be done with it.

Instead, we had a battle of wills. Over brussel sprouts. Who would give in first?

Honestly, I don’t remember who is was that folded. I just remember an extracted battle that felt lousy and completely missed the point of encouraging him to try something new in an open, accepting atmosphere.

This week? It’s kind of like that. You can insist on things that are not really that important (as both of us were doggedly doing in my story). Or you can look at the bigger picture and only insist on what matters. Because most of it doesn’t.

20161203_213207_hdr

Overall, the week is not looking too bad! Basically any setbacks this week look minor and as long as you keep in mind what matters most and dismiss the rest, they are not gonna throw you. Lots of opportunities for replenishing and if you take them, it’s smooth sailing. So go forth and have an awesome week.

Monday, Nine of Cups rx: Generally, I read this card as “almost perfect.” You can find complaints if you look, but why look? There is a lot to enjoy if you’re not a whiner. So don’t be a whiner!

Tuesday, Empress: Awesome day! Creative day, as this is the Tarot Mama. Good day to give birth to something new, or self care is good. Anything you do under the Empresses influence to heal or build yourself up, it tends to be especially effective. Good day.

Wednesday, The Lovers: Expect harmony. Usually with the Lovers, there is choice involved as when the man chooses to be with the wife and leave home/dixiblog/domains/afoolsjourney.com/public_html, for example. We’re generally looking at fortuitous, comfortable. Will have the option to get your vibe on with people of like mind, so enjoy!

Thursday, Nine of Wands rx: A little different than what we’ve had up to this point. Usually, I’ll see this when someone is tired of holding out. Would not focus a whole bunch on getting your individual way. Shift focus to the bigger picture, what is really important. Forget specifics, but look to principles to get the most here.

Friday, Seven of Wands: Echoing same theme as yesterday. Look at core values, not little details. If it’s not important, let it the heck go!

Saturday, High Priestess: Great time to make time for quiet, contemplative events. Time outside if it’s not too cold, meditation, music, etc. Intuition is in high gear. It’s access through quiet activity, creative stuff, exercising your imagination, dreamwork, etc. Know your radar is in high gear, even if you’re not overly energetic. Not a super active vibe, but very receptive.

Sunday, Queen of Pents rx: Take care of yourself FIRST, before extending hospitality to others. If you don’t, you’ll run out of gas before it’s done.

Overview/Advice: Ten of Pentacles rx. Still a nice vibe even reversed. Stronger upright but still a good vibe. Know this week’s setbacks are minor and you can easily work your way around it if you choose. Keep the good attitude and it will go well. In fact, issues that come up can be helpful in terms of providing useful info anywho. Freaking out, it goes downhill, so keep the good attitude. Do what you can to roll with the flow and don’t get worked up.

Affirmation: As I say yes to life, life says yes to me. Take a chance! Do what you really want to do. For me this conjures up the idea, so many times when we’re looking at why we want something, we actually think in terms of what they don’t want, not what they do. It may seem like the same thing saying you don’t want to be sick vs. you want to be healthy, but it’s a lot different vibration. It’s not as subtle difference as you’d think. There is a big difference between pushing against vs. pulling for, although both bring more into your life.

Picking Perspective: Tarot Forecast, Nov 7 – Nov 13, 2016

One of my websites was a mess. I set about to fix it last night and it took me…I dunno. Six hours? Eight hours? Something like that. A tedious process, one page, one post at a time.

But I’m not looking for sympathy.

I could have easily gotten mad about the update that broke my site. Or cussed the developers and sent them nasty emails and social media complaints insisting they fix what they broke. The thought did cross my mind. I felt that decision point acutely, once I realized what was going on. Be upset or just dig in and do it?

Truth or not, blame wasn’t going to fix my mess, and it certainly wasn’t going to make me feel any better. Blame feels lousy–and powerless. The only thing that was going to fix my mess was me! And it could be hard–I could angry and upset for the hours I worked on it. Or it could be easy–glad I have the skills and knowledge to figure out what needed to be done and the time to just sit down and do it.

One step, one step, one step at a time. Methodically, clearly, one step at a time. Each step takes us closer.

There are  lot of things in this world like this. Life is messy and sticky and sometimes, kind of ouchy. You know? I use a trivial example but in the big scheme of existence, it’s the same principles holding for issues big or small. Most of the time, fault doesn’t matter. Only desired outcome matters. Only focus matters.

Focus and perspective determine your subjective experience. And we’re damn lucky that’s the case. Because perspective is self-induced and self-directed. Meaning we have control, and the freedom to decide what our experience is going to feel like. This is going to depend entirely on you. And this coming week is kind of like that.

Tarot Forecast Nov 7, 2016

This week? Would be a good idea to be aware of your perspective. We’ve got a mix of suits, with several inverted cards at the beginning of the week. So expect a slowish start, but it is what it is Overall, the questions, “How big a deal is this, really? What can I do to get where I want to be?” will serve you very well here.

Monday, Eight of Swords rx: Those doors that feel closed and locked are not locked and they are only closed because you’ve decided they are. You have options, always. Right here and right now, you have options you have not been seeing. Today, you’ll be able to catch a glimpse of those options if you’re open to that. You can make significant and quite perceptible shifts if you take advantage of this window of opportunity. Look for them! Don’t be the only thing standing in your own way, dude.

Tuesday, Three of Cups rx: Some comfort in chitchatting with friends and social communities, but it’s incomplete. Whatever you share, be judicious about it. And be aware of how invested you are in other people’s lives. There is support, but it’s good to always retain status as one’s own guiding light.

Wednesday, Page of Swords rx: If you are signing agreements, read twice. Potential for something “just not quite right” in written material. Also potential for lies to be flitted about. If you can wait to sign an agreement, that would be good. If you cannot, that’s okay; for contract or verbal agreements,  though, double check the particulars.

Thursday, Ten of Swords: Many may be feeling overwhelmed with too much to do, think, handle, or figure out. Too much, too much, too much! Pace yourself, prioritize and don’t take on too much. And please don’t criticize yourself for being where you are. Just a little at a time, a little at a time, and feel good about every single step. One step at a time.

Friday, Strength: This vibe feels easier and more stable today. To deal with the flavor of yesterday’s energy, Strength suggests a gentle, but persistent approach, a light touch, over and over works well. Don’t go in gangbusters during the time. Deal gently, lightly, easily, confidently, a little and a little and a little and keep going. You’ve got what it takes to manage what you need to. Use a light touch, being persistent. Not insistent, persistent.

Saturday, Seven of Wands rx: Could express this energy as going along with the crowd even though you don’t agree, or as someone going underground with their beliefs and feelings to avoid conflict. It could manifest even as unexpected support for your convictions from quarters you didn’t expect. Just be aware of polarization and don’t hesitate to withdraw and eep your own counsel. Nothing wrong with that.

Sunday, Four of Wands rx: Would rather see it upright, but still a nice card. You can have harmony, a safe and happy place. as long as you don’t insist everyone feels and thinks they way you do. You can have an oasis in the storm but you have to create it yourself and carry it around with you. In other words, it’s built on internal perspective.

Peace of mind is always home/dixiblog/domains/afoolsjourney.com/public_htmlmade. #OnMyRadar Click To Tweet

Overview/Advice, Five of Cups rx: Be aware of potential for emotional overreaction and making a much bigger deal of things than they need to be. This is a vibe at large and MAN are we seeing it all over the place!  Take a deep breath (or 100), dial it back and let it play out before declaring the world as we know it has ended. Slow down.

Affirmation: I am willing to let go. There have been times I’ve been convinced things MUST go a certain way because it mattered so much. Sometimes, it did go my way but lots of times, not really. Not even close. And the world somehow didn’t implode. The suffering I felt was directly related to my willingness to let go of what was not within my control and live my own life and not try to fix others’ lives. Even others I loved very, very much. Whether it’s kids, spouse, friends, family, country, or, or, or, whoever it is, the only way it can stay alive and active in your experience is if you focus with thoughts, feelings, etc. The more energy you put into it, the more you attract of a similar feeling tone. If you don’t like it, give it as little attention as possible. Let it go and move on!

How are you doing managing your perspective?

Get Off of My Cloud: Weekly Tarot, July 18 – 24

If you could go back in time and do it all over again, would you?

I’m not talking about Marty McFly noting the winning sports teams. I mean reliving your life, making those choices that led you from your start in this lifetime to where you are, now.

Because I wouldn’t. I wouldn’t even entertain the notion.

It’s not because I couldn’t find things to do differently. Oh man, could I!

But I like who I am. I realize, every day that preceded, every choice and every word and every action, helped lead me here. It helped me create who I am, now. I did the best I knew how to in the moment, and through that, I’ve grown. I’ve learned. I’ve experienced. All that stuff I didn’t want helped me clarify what I do want. All the ways I didn’t like being helped me see, how I do like being now.

I don’t believe in guilt. It’s an utterly useless emotion–feeling bad about what cannot be changed poisons us in the present and keeps us from living fully in the now, the single place where we have any power whatsoever. Worry over the future serves a similar function. It takes us out of our now and shifts our experience from whatever goodness we have at our fingertips to virtually living an experience we don’t want.

No. Just, no.

My path is MY path. Those who share the road with me are not inhabitants of my path and my path does not determine theirs. There are no do-overs. There are no try-harders. There is only now, now, now.

This is my cloud. You can come visit if you like and we are vibing similarly. Or not. But right now, it’s a very good idea to be selective, who and what you invite onto your cloud.

20160716_134328_HDR

As I look over this week, the outstanding impression I get is the importance of staying grounded in your own well-being. It’s anything but a static week. The cues from the outside world may well be inconsistent and fast-changing. Plugging in to the mass consciousness vibe will be like a roller coaster: up, down, fast, slow, hither and yon. Not stable at all! The cues within, you have control over by direction your thoughts and attention. I’m not suggesting you don’t care about the world. I’m suggesting you care about the world and everyone in it (which, ahem, includes you) enough to make sure YOU are not adding to the chaos. How? By consciously managing your own vibe.

Stay in the love, folks. Stay in the love–and if anything or anybody makes you wobble in that love? Retreat and get yourself right back there. You do that, and your light contributes to eradicating the darkness.

You do more good to yourself and the world at large by staying in the love than anything else you can do.

Monday, Two of Wands: No need for a stand-off with conflicting desires (either within you, or between you and another). Just let them all be for now and allow the time for clarity to do it’s work by emerging from the confusion. There’s a tendency to want to push back, push back. But instead, stand back, stand back. Let it marinate today.

Tuesday, Wheel of Fortune: Click, click, click into place. A lucky break may show up, or a bit of good fortune, boom! At your feel. Celebrate it, for sure. But also? Know the days that don’t feel quite as lucky are still filled to the brim with good things. You just have to acknowledge them to turn them up.

Wednesday, Six of Cups rx: Do you have faith? Do you trust? Think of your level of trust and knowing here as “what’s in the water.” The more you drink of it, the greater the blessings you allow in. There is a tendency to question goodness today and look for who’s out to hurt you. Don’t. It’s not a time to count grievances. Turn up your blessings by counting THOSE.

Thursday, Page of Cups rx: Moody, temperamental day for many. The upside? These emotional states are very fast-moving. So if you’re got a mood going you don’t dig, it’s not hard to turn it around with a little distraction and conscious cultivation of the feeling state you’d prefer.  And if you’re already feeling what you like? Well, milk it a bit and enjoy the ride. Hugs and naps are great medicine today.

Friday, The Emperor: Care SO MUCH about how you feel that you’re unwilling to compromise on feeling good. So much of our energy can go to trying to please others–an impossible task if ever there was one. You don’t have to be a mirror for the emotional state of others. Instead, be the example for the others to mirror (if they so choose, or not, if they don’t choose). You are in control of your own feelings, so take advantage of that!

Nobody can climb on your cloud unless hand 'em a ticket. #OnMyRadar Click To Tweet

Saturday, Seven of Wands: Stand firm in what you know to be true for you and ignore anyone or anything that is not in alignment with your understanding. Shortly, those that don’t vibrate on your frequency will disappear from your circle of experience.

Sunday, Queen of Swords rx: It’s a good time to retreat and sort through what you’ve got going. Be it physical stuff or emotional engagements or whatever, prioritize and sort. Put your attention on what matters to you, what feels good, and let go what does not. This isn’t a judgey thing. It’s a being happier thing.

Overview/Advice, The Hermit: Declare yourself observer and student this week. Rather than emotionally engage in everything you see, step back and study it. Notice and look for trends. Spend plenty of quiet time, alone time, and replenishing time. Meditation is a great idea! Peacefulness and mindfulness helps you stay grounded in the midst of anyone else’s negative emotions. You don’t have to sign on for that class, you know? You can step back and stay out of the storm. In fact, it’s highly advised.

My inner being guides me through my emotions. When you feel bad, it’s not punishment or karma or random chance. It’s a signal, that how you’re looking at the world is not in sync with how your higher self sees it. We may perceive lack and pain and chaos. But in the bigger picture, the way spirit sees the world, everything is happening in the right place at the right time. I know that sounds like a contradiction but it’s not. There is a an infinite diversity to life experience and sometimes even the most unpleasant ones lead beauty and grace. No matter what you’re feeling in any given time, look for the feeling one step up, one step up, one step up. This IS your emotional guidance system and it’s all you need to stay in strong alignment with spirit. The better you feel, the easier it is to remain connected and the stronger that connection is. So just look at all emotion as your inner GPS, guiding you to greater happiness and fulfillment. And for that to work, we must rely on all emotion, wanted or not, since all of it provides valuable information.

Be well out there!
