Emperor Rx & Six of Cups: Making Way by Letting Go

Sometimes, losing control is the best thing that could have ever happened.

In fact, I’ll double down on that: 1. “Control” is temporary at best, anyway, and 2. Always, letting go of (the illusion of) control is a good idea.

The relationship that’s sinking, or the job that’s disappearing, the kid that’s spiraling…whatever battle that it feels like you’re losing?

Ask yourself: what if this is really okay? What if this is making room for something that works better?

And maybe you won’t know what’s coming to replace “it.” But disintegration is a clear sign change is underway. Nothing breaks down without reason–or replacement.

Every single time I’ve felt the panic of knowing I no longer had a situation in hand (and there have been many because I’m old!), it’s made way for something that is a better fit for where I was at the time. Without exception. It may be growth or healing or understanding or a totally new paradigm of some sort. But it’s always been important.

I won’t say it’s always fast. I won’t say it’s always easy. But it’s always been meaningful, and that’s enough.

Change can be disruptive, especially if we want to cling (and all of us do sometimes). We want to see the full path to the other side because it can be scary. We want reassurance when the Universe invariably shows only the next step or two.

Be okay with just seeing the next step or two. If you’re plugged in, that next step will be inspired and it will take you exactly where you want to go, even if you have no idea how.

So no matter where you are: if something in your life feels like it’s slipping out of your grasp, take heart. That is the feeling of the decks being cleared to make way for a little “life redecorating.”

Next Week’s Tarot

For the coming week’s outlook, we have the Emperor reversed (again!) and for advice, the Six of Cups, from one of my favorite decks, the Radiant Rider-Waite mini.

The reversed Emperor is suggesting that the world feels slightly out of control–not necessarily (or just) the world at large, but our personal worlds as well. This isn’t a great surprise with Mercury prepping to go retrograde in a couple of days. But it is an emphasis: if it feels what’s important to you is not quite within your realm of control, that’s because it’s not.

As if it ever really is…

[bctt tweet=”The only control is self-control. #OnMyRadar” username=”goddess_dix”]

It doesn’t really matter, though.

The Six of Cups advise us to trust, just as the children do. Be pure of heart and expect the Universe to work out what needs to be worked out. Maybe that seems naive to some, but to me? It’s as clear and sure as the sun coming up without my personal intervention.

Six of Cups advice: Trust. Take a break from trying to make the world spin just so. Relax and restore yourself. Exhale. Be pure of heart and generous.  Prioritize kindness over winning. Let go and let be.

I realize this advice is easier to give than to take because I do both. But once you start letting go of the fear-driven drive to control, life starts getting easier. Once you begin leading more with your heart, doors open and paths clear. Life begins to work in ways you never could have orchestrated through the force of will.

So let go. Allow others to control themselves. You control yourself. Lead with your heart and let the Universe do its own part.

Are you feeling the change afoot?

If you’re looking for a little shoring up on any of the above (or anything else), give me a holler for a one-on-one session and we’ll talk.

Only Now. (Weekly Tarot)

I’m experimenting with format for the Everyday Tarot. Nothing to worry over, if you’re inclined to extrapolate. I’m well! (You know who you are.)

Right now, I’m more looking to ride the wave incoming, and (hopefully) help translate it for you.

And I just pulled a few cards for me. I had a question. But as soon as I saw them, I knew they wanted to speak to you, too.

The Ace of Swords is clarity and focus. It’s a single, undiluted idea. It’s a beginning of a beginning. With this Ace, the idea will always be good but it’s far from complete, and you never know how far it will go. Which honestly (as this Ace demands), that’s a lot of the excitement of any new idea. It’s fun to watch them grow up!

And the Six of Cups is trust–a childhood trust, uncomplicated. It’s a gift, for no other purpose than pleasure. This card brings the gift of being in the moment. Those children aren’t worrying about yesterday or next week. They’re not asking, “How, how, how, will the world will sort itself out?!?” They are sharing a moment. The moment. The only moment any of us have. Now.

[bctt tweet=”NOW is the only moment there is. #OnMyRadar” via=”no”]

Behind them lies a castle: they are well provided for.  There are many beautiful flowers–blessings. In Cups–the heart. It’s a beautiful place to be.

Simple, unadulterated optimism. Expecting and accepting all is well. Appreciation without qualification. Being present in the moment. Knowing you’ll know what you need to know, as you need to know it. This is how you plug into the flow, where it feels good and you remain connected to your great knowings.

And the outcome? That’s the Knight of Wands.  He’s going places, and fast! He’s having fun, creating and building a life he loves. This guy? He’s having a good time.

I want to take a ride like that. How about you?

This week’s forecast featured themini Radiant Rider Waite because Dixie is lazy and it was already out of the Tarot bin. Also, it is a great working deck who speaks very clearly. Shoot me an email if you want to see what that (or another) deck have to say to you.

The Only Responsibility: Tarot Forecast, Nov 14 – 20, 2016

“I don’t know what’s going on in anyone else’s head. I assume most people mean well and are doing the best they know how under the circumstances as they perceive them–this is almost universally true. I don’t need to figure out the specifics. I just do my best to be happy and kind and live well…and leave other people’s lives to other people. Much less complicated.”

I was talking to a friend, quite upset by another’s behavior. The complaints were beyond understandable and certainly had merit. Many would have passionately agreed with them. I understood completely.

I didn’t agree. I didn’t disagree either. Because it was not my place.  I didn’t feel the need to be outraged or conciliatory. That is not my role, in the conversation or in life. I am not the declarer of what is good and bad in the world, for the world. I am the declarer of what I want for me.

That’s my intention. I’m looking to focus my energy on living MY OWN life the best I can. I have core values that I look to embody at all times and in all situations.  Whether it’s easy or especially when it’s not so easy. Personal integrity, being true to who I am and holding fast to values I find meaningful–this is my only goal. I think of this approach to life as a personal practice. I’m far from perfect in execution, mind you! But I am committed to the practice. It’s made a tremendously positive difference. It gives you a sort of protected space within your own heart.

That groove–being true to who I want to be, while allowing others to do what they will–well, I see this as true freedom. When personal peace is not conditional and when compassion is not conditional and when love is truly not conditional–literally nothing can disrupt the resulting zen.

Of course I don’t like everything I see. Who does? But whatever I see, I do look to apply a framework of love, compassion and peace through which to view it. Sometimes it’s harder and sometimes it’s easier, but it gets easier the more you do it. And I don’t think of it as abdicating responsibility, either. It’s more taking ultimate responsibility for the one and only thing that I truly am responsible for: me!

Live the life you wish to advocate. Those who are vibrationally close to that will be encouraged and empowered by your example. Others will go their own way. This is really the only way change happens anyway. It’s an intimately personal, individual, one-soul-at-a-time affair.

[bctt tweet=”Arguments don’t inspire change. Examples do. #OnMyRadar” via=”no”]

You can always, always, always have your peace. The trick is, you have to make your own and bring it with you.

Tarot Forecast Nov 14, 2016

Man, the energy in the wild is crazy right now, huh? Fortunately, “fixing” this is not my task. Thank the Gods!  (I’d also say it’s not your task, but that decision is yours to make, not mine.) We’re using the Zodiac Tarot, which is an interesting deck as it’s based solely off the astrological connection.  Some cards will have traditional meanings and others, not as much. But it’s a fun deck and man, do I love that Sun card. So how about a little sunshine to start the week?

Monday, The Sun:  Find joy in the little things (or big). Be silly, be happy, have fun, and appreciate, appreciate, appreciate! It will make for an awesome day.

Tuesday, King of Pentacles: Take care of business. Don’t be afraid to entertain or otherwise offer concrete assistance to those you care for. Not meddling, mind you, but be ready to show up. Stay focused and take action you’re inspired to take and the day should go well.

Wednesday, Seven of Cups rx: Possibility for delusion and confusion. Sort of like a drunken feeling on some level. So be aware. If info doesn’t make sense to you, realize it might not be right. And this may take a bit to come out. Confusion is running amuck! Take it slow and easy and double check facts, okay? No drinking without a designated driver. Watch your back.

Thursday, Six of Cups: Feels like hesitation around issues of trust. Which is fine. Just wait until you’re feeling less conflicted. Take it slow and easy and all will be well.

Friday, The Chariot: And this is an “all will be well” card. If you waited until you comfortable yesterday, today things are move. It may not seem direct, but it is moving and you ARE getting where you want to go. Be confident and enjoy the ride.

Saturday, Justice rx: Maybe imbalances, sense of unfairness or whatever. But it’s coming together. Don’t get too wound up about it. Just take your time and let it work out on it’s own schedule.

Sunday, Nine of Pentacles: Beautiful rendition of this card. Look to what makes your heart sing. Simple things like nature would work great. Good day to enjoy the particulars of natural beauty, walk along the beach if you can, enjoy a leaf or sunset or arrange colors in pleasing combinations. Basically look for beauty and harmony everywhere and appreciate it to have an awesome day!

Overview/Advice, Two of Pentacles: You can manage whatever you have to manage. Understand the sense of burden may be due to stuff you’ve signed up for sketchy reasons: nobody else is doing it, I want people to think well of me, etc. Only volunteer for stuff you want to do, you’d enjoy doing or find benefit from doing. Forget the secondary reasons we sometimes sign up. Anything less than those solid reasons, you’ll be less than pleased.

Affirmation: My attention to it invites the essence of it. What you’re thinking of and focusing on is what you’re broadcasting. Other things, which may seem unrelated, are still of the same vibrational essence. You can tell by how you feel. If you’re thinking on a subject and you feel good, you’re attracting something you’ll like. If you don’t, you’re attracting something you won’t. So change your thoughts or change the subject, but be mindful of your attention and prioritize feeling good.

Are you finding your peace?

This week’s forecast features the Zodiac Tarot, along with an affirmation from Money and the Law of Attraction Deck. More Tarot writing in my book, Everyday Tarot Archives, or a personal consult can be yours, easy peasy.

Timely Unfolding Tarot, Aug 7 – 13

Quantum leaps always sound so great, don’t they?

I want to get from where I am, to ========> over here, NOW.

Now, now, now.

Cue Veruca Salt.

I get it. I do.

But quantum leaps often don’t feel better than gradual, steady progress forward in the real-world living.

Quantum leaps usually come from Tower moments–significant disruption. They are disorienting and often born out of crisis or boiling point. They are intense. They can be challenging.

Whereas steady step, step, step in the direction you want to go? Much easier.

Trying to force or push a big jump forward is usually fruitless anyway. Instead, settle for an ongoing reorientation towards how you want to feel, over and over and over. Reorient towards the feeling place you want to be the same way you’d check your travel route against a map. That will carry you through and it’s a whole lot easier than trying to will yourself to teleport.

20160806_154544_HDR

The flow of next week pretty much jumps out here: slight sludge through the start, swinging into brighter weather midweek and ending on a high note. The beginning isn’t awful, it’s just got the potential to be twitchy here and there. So take it slow and steady and be kind to yourself through the process. Making peace with wherever you are will allow the smoothest flow.

Monday, Queen of Wands rx – Keep your temper monitored to keep from turning into a McCrankyPants. Because that’s no fun for anybody. Just take your time through the day and any time anything isn’t where you want it to be? Take a step back. Breathe deeply, in and out. It’s not hard to stay on solid ground here as long as you remain aware of your emotional state and make any adjustments before it gets ramped up. I don’t see this as an overwhelmingly intense day. Just little pokes here and there, which are easy enough to sidestep if you’ve decided beforehand, you will sidestep.

Tuesday, Moon rx – Scorpio moon day. There’s a sort of wariness, like the theme is “undercurrent.” I would almost say, it’s something like air has some thickness with what’s not being said. Nothing to do with it. Just don’t go full-on paranoid if you are feeling this, because the week sorts itself out within a day or so.  I’d suggest invoking your Scorpio power and observe the Hell out of it all. And happy birthday to my Kidlet!

Wednesday, Six of Cups rx – A relaxing of scrutiny. Overall the tone is lightening up here and the sense of sloughing through is largely lifted by this evening. Have a relaxing evening.

Thursday, Knight of Cups – Appreciation flows freely today, back and forth. Focus on what you love and share the wealth by letting people know you appreciate them. It can be little or big, those close to you or at random strangers. But if you make the choice to focus on appreciation, it returns exponentially.

Friday, The Lovers – A harmonious day! This feels easy and fun to me. Clicking into place. Enjoy your day!

Overview/Advice, Judgement – Do the best you can individually and don’t concern yourself with what others say of you or what they do themselves. All things will sort themselves out in the end. This is a “keep your eyes on your own paper and let God sort it out” kind of week. If you do that, though, you’ll be able to glide through and feel pretty good. So do it!

Affirmation – You know what to do. You get quiet and peaceful and as calm as you can. You allow yourself to plug in. And then? You act when you feel the inspiration, doing what feels the best.

[bctt tweet=”Your connection never goes away. You just have to shut the brain up long enough to hear it. #OnMyRadar” username=”goddess_dix”]

Everything happens in the time and place that can allow for it, and not before (or after). If you approach the week ahead with patience, and a slow, steady determination to make the best of wherever you find yourself, you can have a pleasant week overall and make some progress toward what you want. Doesn’t that sound like a plan?

It’s my plan!

In short: don’t bitch at yourself if your life hasn’t unfolded just so. You’re not done! The flower blooms at just the right time and so do you. Patience isn’t so much a virtue here as a provider of some ease. I’m all about taking the ease whenever possible.

Priority is your peace of mind and connection. If you keep coming back to that, maintain your center, then everything else smooths for your path. I’ll take it!

How you doing?

This is a really crappy picture of a really beautiful deck: Legacy of the Divine. Plus some Archangel Cards. This is my book, if you dig this sort of thing. Find me here for a private consult.

Get Off of My Cloud: Weekly Tarot, July 18 – 24

If you could go back in time and do it all over again, would you?

I’m not talking about Marty McFly noting the winning sports teams. I mean reliving your life, making those choices that led you from your start in this lifetime to where you are, now.

Because I wouldn’t. I wouldn’t even entertain the notion.

It’s not because I couldn’t find things to do differently. Oh man, could I!

But I like who I am. I realize, every day that preceded, every choice and every word and every action, helped lead me here. It helped me create who I am, now. I did the best I knew how to in the moment, and through that, I’ve grown. I’ve learned. I’ve experienced. All that stuff I didn’t want helped me clarify what I do want. All the ways I didn’t like being helped me see, how I do like being now.

I don’t believe in guilt. It’s an utterly useless emotion–feeling bad about what cannot be changed poisons us in the present and keeps us from living fully in the now, the single place where we have any power whatsoever. Worry over the future serves a similar function. It takes us out of our now and shifts our experience from whatever goodness we have at our fingertips to virtually living an experience we don’t want.

No. Just, no.

My path is MY path. Those who share the road with me are not inhabitants of my path and my path does not determine theirs. There are no do-overs. There are no try-harders. There is only now, now, now.

This is my cloud. You can come visit if you like and we are vibing similarly. Or not. But right now, it’s a very good idea to be selective, who and what you invite onto your cloud.

20160716_134328_HDR

As I look over this week, the outstanding impression I get is the importance of staying grounded in your own well-being. It’s anything but a static week. The cues from the outside world may well be inconsistent and fast-changing. Plugging in to the mass consciousness vibe will be like a roller coaster: up, down, fast, slow, hither and yon. Not stable at all! The cues within, you have control over by direction your thoughts and attention. I’m not suggesting you don’t care about the world. I’m suggesting you care about the world and everyone in it (which, ahem, includes you) enough to make sure YOU are not adding to the chaos. How? By consciously managing your own vibe.

Stay in the love, folks. Stay in the love–and if anything or anybody makes you wobble in that love? Retreat and get yourself right back there. You do that, and your light contributes to eradicating the darkness.

You do more good to yourself and the world at large by staying in the love than anything else you can do.

Monday, Two of Wands: No need for a stand-off with conflicting desires (either within you, or between you and another). Just let them all be for now and allow the time for clarity to do it’s work by emerging from the confusion. There’s a tendency to want to push back, push back. But instead, stand back, stand back. Let it marinate today.

Tuesday, Wheel of Fortune: Click, click, click into place. A lucky break may show up, or a bit of good fortune, boom! At your feel. Celebrate it, for sure. But also? Know the days that don’t feel quite as lucky are still filled to the brim with good things. You just have to acknowledge them to turn them up.

Wednesday, Six of Cups rx: Do you have faith? Do you trust? Think of your level of trust and knowing here as “what’s in the water.” The more you drink of it, the greater the blessings you allow in. There is a tendency to question goodness today and look for who’s out to hurt you. Don’t. It’s not a time to count grievances. Turn up your blessings by counting THOSE.

Thursday, Page of Cups rx: Moody, temperamental day for many. The upside? These emotional states are very fast-moving. So if you’re got a mood going you don’t dig, it’s not hard to turn it around with a little distraction and conscious cultivation of the feeling state you’d prefer.  And if you’re already feeling what you like? Well, milk it a bit and enjoy the ride. Hugs and naps are great medicine today.

Friday, The Emperor: Care SO MUCH about how you feel that you’re unwilling to compromise on feeling good. So much of our energy can go to trying to please others–an impossible task if ever there was one. You don’t have to be a mirror for the emotional state of others. Instead, be the example for the others to mirror (if they so choose, or not, if they don’t choose). You are in control of your own feelings, so take advantage of that!

[bctt tweet=”Nobody can climb on your cloud unless hand ’em a ticket. #OnMyRadar ” username=”goddess_dix”]

Saturday, Seven of Wands: Stand firm in what you know to be true for you and ignore anyone or anything that is not in alignment with your understanding. Shortly, those that don’t vibrate on your frequency will disappear from your circle of experience.

Sunday, Queen of Swords rx: It’s a good time to retreat and sort through what you’ve got going. Be it physical stuff or emotional engagements or whatever, prioritize and sort. Put your attention on what matters to you, what feels good, and let go what does not. This isn’t a judgey thing. It’s a being happier thing.

Overview/Advice, The Hermit: Declare yourself observer and student this week. Rather than emotionally engage in everything you see, step back and study it. Notice and look for trends. Spend plenty of quiet time, alone time, and replenishing time. Meditation is a great idea! Peacefulness and mindfulness helps you stay grounded in the midst of anyone else’s negative emotions. You don’t have to sign on for that class, you know? You can step back and stay out of the storm. In fact, it’s highly advised.

My inner being guides me through my emotions. When you feel bad, it’s not punishment or karma or random chance. It’s a signal, that how you’re looking at the world is not in sync with how your higher self sees it. We may perceive lack and pain and chaos. But in the bigger picture, the way spirit sees the world, everything is happening in the right place at the right time. I know that sounds like a contradiction but it’s not. There is a an infinite diversity to life experience and sometimes even the most unpleasant ones lead beauty and grace. No matter what you’re feeling in any given time, look for the feeling one step up, one step up, one step up. This IS your emotional guidance system and it’s all you need to stay in strong alignment with spirit. The better you feel, the easier it is to remain connected and the stronger that connection is. So just look at all emotion as your inner GPS, guiding you to greater happiness and fulfillment. And for that to work, we must rely on all emotion, wanted or not, since all of it provides valuable information.

Be well out there!

This weeks forecast features the Tarot Nova Mini deck and some kind of Abraham-Hicks affirmation cards. You know where to get my book, Everyday Tarot Archives by now. And you know how to reach me. So you know, if you wanna…do it!

Nobody’s Business But My Own – Weekly Flow Tarot, May 16 -22

People try–sometimes VERY hard–to heal others. Loved ones, strangers, friends, acquaintances. It doesn’t matter.

And there is beauty in that, the way humans reach out and care about each other, even if that caring at times comes across as overbearing or otherwise onerous.

But right here and right now, with the energy what it is and the sky what it is and everything else what it is, the healing must begin at home.

May 16 - 22 2016

Tarot Cups are very well represented this week–maybe a little too well represented–with a smattering of Swords and just a dash of Wands making appearances. That tells me it’s gonna be a squishy week! Now, it can be emotional-all-over-the-place squishy, or you can use the very same energy to tap into magical, mystical forms of expression. I’m opting for the latter.

In other words, talk to the flowers and trees and little critters. Ask your body what it wants from you! Imagine sending your “roots” deep into the earth and connecting to the solid, stabilizing energy of our world. Bless your food and infuse it with good health. Thank your house for keeping you safe and thank your car for moving you to and fro. Thank your feet for holding you up and thank plants for sharing oxygen and beauty to brighten your day. Say your prayers and do your magic spells and just allow these feelings to reach crescendo and then RELEASE.

This is like blowing up your balloon nice and big and then, letting it go! That will burn through the squish while letting it serve you at the same time. Because otherwise? You’d probably get stuck crying it off and that’s no fun. This week’s forecast is literally chock full of indicators to look within, focus on yourself, and take charge of your own space on every level. So do that!

Monday, Blossom/Crown Chakra – Eight of Cups: Let it go to blossom AND to improve your spirit connection. Purge the old, be it physical, concrete items or emotional (and hence, energetic). Hint: the emotional and energetic release comes very swiftly from taking physical action, or purging physical items. Something my friend Aliza said recently about the Eight of Cups struck me. The usual rendition has someone walking away from upright cups and she reminded me, those cups remain intact even though you’re walking away from them. They are not spilled or destroyed. So here, the idea is that you need NOT continuing to worry about anything that’s not yours. Problems that aren’t yours? You can let it go. Confusion, ugliness, wrongness out in the wild? Let it go! YOUR EMOTIONAL NEEDS ARE JOB 1 this week. Other people’s needs/wants/issues are just that: other people’s.

[bctt tweet=”Healing the world starts at home. #OnMyRadar ” username=”goddess_dix”]

Tuesday, Master/Third Eye Chakra – Six of Cups rx: I’m seeing this as hesitation to trust yourself, either in-general for decisions or especially, intuition. There’s worry over being naive and missing the obvious. Fear is very loud, energetically. It’s hard to hear through! It’s also concentrated and forms a barrier that keeps the good stuff (including intuition) out. So instead, quiet your mind. Ground and center. Ask for what you need to know to be shown to you. And then? Trust. Let it go. Relax. Nap, or walk or do something else. To master your ability to access Third Eye knowing, you’ll be looking for feeling nudges, what makes you feel good without the judgement or follow up questions as to whether or not that feeling “makes sense.”

Wednesday, Helpless & Hopeless – Ace of Cups: Very small feelings make very big ripples today. There’s an advantage to that fact though. Small feelings require smaller adjustments to make big changes. Discriminate over what feelings you “drink in.” Avoid negative people and unhappy litanies wherever you find them. My go-to emergency strategy for this kind of energy is a gratitude list. I know it sounds hokey but if you try it, you’ll see what I mean. Articulate what you’re grateful for and allow yourself to experience the flush that goes with feeling it, deep down. Best remedy for chasing away the hopelessness, right there!

Thursday, Heal – Two of Swords rx: You didn’t have choices always, about what pain has visited. But you can still heal it. Just understand it’s not a linear, thinky-thinky kind of process. The healing doesn’t lie in weighing out the impact of injury mentally. It lies in allowing yourself to grieve, the quiet time and space. It lies in treating yourself lovingly and kindly. It lies is seeking comfort and then accepting that comfort without argument. I’m seeing this like a long walk through flower-filled paths. There isn’t thinking, “Oh, I will enjoy these flowers now. The science behind their blooms is amazing and the scents stimulate my neurons to fire in a pleasing arrangement.” You just take it in and experience it, you know? The healing doesn’t have to be deconstructed. You just allow it in!

Friday, Just Breathe – Queen of Wands: Slow, deep and determined breathing will stabilize any difficulties and provide clarity and strength. The Queen of Wands is a very tough cookie and she’s on your side today! Passion, determination and incredible force of will are hence at your disposal. To access these gifts, stop, breathe and see that firely strength flowing right into your crown. Seriously!

Saturday, Release – Knight of Swords rx: Stop speculating over the whys and wherefores that have gone before. Does it really matter what someone’s motivation was when they stabbed you? And is that understanding worth reliving the stabs over and over? Purging, distraction, or replacement are the tactics I’d go for. Getting rid of physical items (or electronic communications, etc.) that trigger pain. Finding other ways to engage your mind and body that you like. Or if you’re having trouble breaking free, channel the energy into creative activity. It will help!

Sunday, Find Balance – Four of Cups: Today, use the power of your imagination to support you instead of sabotage. It’s un-worry time! Imagine how you might feel if your life is full and blessed and you’ve been gifted by the Universe with what you need to blossom and flourish. Imagine what the perfect balance of giving and recieving might feel like. Imagine bliss and joy filling your days and night. Daydream on that! This will ground and balance you.

Overview/Advice, Shine – The Empress rx: Don’t be the world’s Mama to shine this week. Don’t be cutting the meat on someone else’s plate to help chew on their lessons. Not your job right now. Take care of the self. Digest lessons for the self.

Affirmation, Solitude: “Be empty and still. Seek no company and find union with self. Observe your mental and emotional state. Right relationship with ourselves is necessary for a balance relationship with others. Solutions can be found in solitude. We are either alone or all one. Be quiet and your soul will sing.” I think I’m going to use the affirmation, “I’m at peace with myself.” But these thoughts are clearly echoing the rest of the forecast.

It’s retrograde season, astrologically. Bits and pieces of the past are coming into focus and they can pack some pretty hefty punches. We deal with them by taking a step back, out of the bustle and noise, and allowing the feelings to come. They’ll wash up, over you. You just let them. You feel your feelings! You accept them and offer a safe space, full of love, for the “you” that has felt these feelings and is looking to heal the hurts of the past. Hold no judgement, for self or other. Just feel them. This allows them to do their cleansing work. And quiet, downtime and solitude is the perfect environment for this to happen. We’re all going to be feeling the old feels for a while – but now? I want to HEAL the old feels!

Are you feeling the old feels?
