Ace of Pentacles: Watering the Right Seeds

Everything you do starts with the tiniest of seeds. The 50 year marraige starts with a first day. The child–well, you know what that starts with. The new lease on life begins with a single idea. When you focus on it, you get inspiration. And when you act on that inspiration, you’re watering the seed.

Getting Real This Week

This week’s Tarot gives us the Ace of Pentacles (or Earth, as depicted in the Good Tarot) teams up with the Anemone flower, associated with “Anticipation” from the Botanical Inspirations deck.

Anytime you’re in the suit of Earth, you’re talking real-world manifestations. With the Ace, however, that manifestation is very new, like a young seedling just starting out. It’s baby energy! It’s a new project, a new direction, a new venture just getting underway.

These cards advise us to begin taking small, deliberate (and hopefully, inspired) steps now in line with our goals and what’s more? Expect those steps to work out.

“Don’t create problems you don’t have in your head.” That’s what I tell friends and Tarot folks alike, with regularity. Sometimes, I tell myself, too.

But the other side of that advice-coin is, “Create success in your head!”

Anticipate good outcomes. Even if the process doesn’t look like a good outcome to you quite yet, keep solid in the faith everything is working out in perfect order. This is the energetic equivalent of getting out of your own way so you can see as the Universe unfolds a path before you. That sounds so simple, doesn’t it? It sounds too simple to work. And yet, it does.

The discipline required isn’t that of forcing outer circumstances to bend. The discipline is in lining up your own thought processes. It’s very easy to tell how well you’re lined up with what you want. Look at your emotions for cues. If it feels good, you’re more lined up! If it feels bad, not so much. Take a break. Get off the subject. Talk yourself down or distract yourself, whichever is quicker and easier.

Just whatever you do, don’t bother trying to resolve a problem to make yourself feel better. Get yourself feeling better, and then you’ll be in the position to receive inspired solutions.

There is a world of difference between what an individual can come up with when mired in a state of stress or panic versus what the Universe hands out freely to those open and receptive to divine inspiration. You may be able to make progress hammering it out, but it’s going to be slow and painful. Solutions from inspiration win every single time!

Let your emotions guide your focus. If it feels good, go sharper. If it feels bad, diffuse. #OnMyRadar Click To Tweet

Expect your life to work. Expect everything to turn out. Expect yourself to figure it out along the way. Looking for evidence of progress will always serve you better than looking for disaster. It does require faith, but it needn’t be blind faith. Test it out for yourself, starting with subjects that are less intense for you. Play around with small ideas, small desires, those that you can hold lightly and without a lot of angst. Prove to yourself it works by watching it in action. Then, as bigger issues capture your attention, it’s easier to use the same methods.

This is exactly how you take a seed and grow it. Whatever your most active, intense focus is what you’re on the fast-track for making real.  You get to decide which seed you’re watering here. The seed of disaster, or the seed of progress? It’s up to you.

Which seeds are you watering? For a little support getting on track, holler at me for a 1-on-1.
